Right now I'm watching my New York Yankees kick the crap out of the Kansas City Royals.

to me pro ball is more about the players contracts then the game

I think the problems with todays game is that people let the contracts get to them too much. If you just watch a game and let yourself sink into it, it's still a beautiful thing. I really love the Blue Jays this year. 11-8 wins all year long please.

Well you should. Baseball at any level is great and should be encouraged. All being said though the Skydome is 15 minutes from my place and real good seats are 20$. That lets me see guys like Pedro and Nomah, DJ and the rocket and lots of other great athletes great value compared to the Raps or Leafs.
