Oh babe, that is such bad news about the house . . . hope the owner does the decent thing and stumps for any work needing done and that you can still move soon . . . utterly no doubt in your fortitude, so sure you'll endure whatever the fates throw at you in unique style and with great dignity, but that's a real bitch of a break . . .

If the landlord refuses to do the repairs then I will basically be homeless.
Needless to say I am not in the slightest bit impressed....with only 2½ weeks to go till my moving date, I am rather worried about the whole thing.
If he agrees to do the repairs, I suspect my move will be delayed but that's ok, I can live with that but if he refuses......I have no idea what I will do.
Some good vibes sent my way would be greatly apreciated!

Thank you to everyone for their ongoing support re: my house situation - I have a gut feeling that I may lose this one.
I just rang the agency who told me they had not yet heard from the landlord.
Moreover, they have been trying to contact him since August 22nd regarding some repairs that were reported (possibly the same ones as the surveyor found) and he has not been in touch at all.
Does not bode well does it?
I am now feeling really low about the situation.
