I used Corel Photpaint 10, Stumbo!
Which kind of answers Frank's quezzie too - that they were not painted, merely played around with by moi!

Nice bit of playing there - I used to work with Corel Photopaint a bit back in the day - about 9 years ago, using version 3!
Even then it had the odd filter that did things I couldn't replicate in Photoshop, and it looks like it still does . . . the lines in these pieces look very much like they've been hand drawn - lovely stuff.

Been using Coreldraw 11 a lot recently - the first vector drawing stuff I've done in simply ages - forgotten just how good it is doing design with text using these tools . . . it's about a million miles away from the mapping pens and rulers I had to use at college, and about 100 times faster . . . pre-digital design techniques? Seems like the dark ages now mate!

And, ooh look - coreltrace is quite fun too . . .

I can't help but smile when I hear you two talk a bout Coreldraw/trace. I could of had a job working for Corel but I was afraid of the state of the company and turned them down. Imagine, I could of had a hand in creating a tool that turns our lovely Godess Of Darkness into the likeness of a comic book character, a hot comic book character that is!

I'd be well up for illustrating the 'Aika's Stunning Adventures' comic, but after this last batch, I reckon she hardly really needs another artist on board . . .
