Another point needs a whole lot of attention: It is only the RW that is responsible for the polarization and division in America now -- on account of which so many actually see the specter of civil war looming. The GOP has been moving further and further right since 1976 while the Dems have . . . not moved left. The Pubs have evolved into an ideological party while the Dems have remained a coalition of interest groups. Note that there is no Dem counterpart to Project 2025.
