She wakes from her magic induced sleep & yawns. "What have I been doing?" Adraste turns too look at the dust covered sleeping form of Perrin. "By the gods." Looking around at the other patrons, all in the same slump over forms. "What has happened to us all?"

William Ford

The sun set two hours ago, so Ford thought that it was high time to close down his book store for the night. He took some old, yellowed parchments, that he has recently acquired, carefully wrapped them in cloth and put them into his bag. He put his coat on, and left the room, locking the store. There was something about the street that was unfamiliar. Never has William seen the streets of New York so quiet and that.... bar..... (tavern?) across the street.... it was so different, like a piece of the puzzle that does not fit with the rest. Though he has never seen it before, somehow it felt familiar. "Well, a new place" Ford thought, "Might as well go and pay that locale a visit, before I retire for the night". He opened the door and stepped in.
The patrons of the tavern were so diverse, so different than people Will used to know. Something in the back of his mind told Ford that he should be feeling awkward about this, that this should never be happening, but the voice went silent. A second later, William felt as if it was all natural and familiar - the patrons seemed to him as everyday, as trees and the sun. Like childhood friends of whom he somehow forgot.
Walking to the bar, he paid his respects to the ladies, by bowing his head as he went by them.
"Good evening, my good sir, can I please have a cup of cofee?", he asked the barkeep.

Suddenly realizing that something wierd has happened to the patrons, William jumps off of his chair and looks around the room.

"wh...wh...what ha...happened to all the customers...? Why are they sleeping?"
