Anal sex advice

Ahem. That was a private conversation between me and Noor. How did you hear about that?

Dammit, Noor, did you tell him? ;)

No, I just read your mind ;)

Is a condom really necessary if you haven't been using one with your gf for months? My gf and I are both clean and monogamous and haven't been using rubbers for at least six months. We're about to do anal and seriously, do I really need to wear a rubber?

The last time we tried anal I used one and it burned her like a motherfucker (she experiences vaginal discomfort with them too).

You'll probably hear both sides here...but generally yes you should use a condom for anal sex....and don't take anything that's been inserted in the rectum and put it somewhere else...like her pussy...without washing it first...just a real no no if you want to play it safe and keep healthy.

Good luck in your anal explorations :)

Condoms are a good idea during anal for several reasons. Hygiene and STD prevention are a couple of them. Another is that a condom generally makes sex smoother, since it allows you to slide more easily.

If your gf is reacting to the condoms, you might try a different material. Many people are allergic to latex and that could be her issue. Try the Avanti condoms; they're made out of polyurethane, to which almost nobody is allergic. If you're not worried about STD's, you may also be able to find all-natural condoms (often made of lambskin). Good luck!

avanti's with lube not spermicide! and if the lube's a problem, wipe it off and relube it with something you aren't allergic too. Walgreens lubricating jelly works fine for me and I am allergic to lots of things.

When my bf mentioned this to me before, I was kinda stand offish on it, so what he did was used his finger in my ass and around the entry area and got me to relax with that idea and I liked it. Then we slowly moved on to things a little bigger till I got used to them until I was able to take him.

Now I love it.;)

We used alot of lube and patience in this matter as to it was a new area for me and I was very nervous.

Uhm.... here goes... since everyone else has covered this really well.

NEVER EVER EVER mistake the tube of Ben-Gay for the tube of lube.

especially for anal.

:)

Ang

This has never happened to me fortunately. But I do remember the time my oldest son mistook a tube of Preparation H for tooth paste. (He was 5 at the time) He came out of the bathroom complaining how the toothpaste had turned sour.....

:D

I have heard from several female friends who're in to anal that it is considerably less comfrotable & less pleasureable with a condom
I spoke to several of my gay friends and they almost universally agreed that condoms are less comfortable both in giving & receiving anal
The only times I tried using them with my 2 steady partners (in monogamous LTR's) it didn't work out well
As I understand it, the prime risks (assuming 2 monogamous disease free partners...don't even get me started on the risks for non-monogamous folks who of COURSE should ignore minor discomfort in the interests of safety) of no-condom anal are: urinary tract infection for the male, possible surface infection or "transmitted" infection from contact with fecal matter (ie, getting a bit of seepage on your hand & ingesting it, possibly ending up with something like Hep A), and transmitted infections for the female partner, especially bacterial vaginosis
By and large, simple precautions lke washing up carefuly immediately after will elminate the majority of these risks and I have READ, altho do not know it to be true, that urinating (by the male) right after will reducd his UTI risk
Your decision there

As for the lube comment...VERY important! NON spermicidcal lube!! My psycho ex thought she was allergic go latex condoms...turns out she was allergic to Nonoxyl-9. We used a Non-9 treated one for attemtped anal & I about had to take her to the hospital
I use unlubed condoms now & add copious amounts of lube and it seems to work well :D

Have fun!

Hi, I just ran an Anal Thread, use a search and look for Butt Plugs Are they worth it?

the search button is in the upper right hand corner of your screen..

I recieved tons of great advice... on butt plugs and anal sex...:D see the smile....mmmmmm it all worked its way in! I mean out!

Our first couple times my wife and I didn't use a condom and it was great. The last couple times we used a condom for sanitary reasons as stated by James G 5. Though not as pleasurable physically, it was still fucking awsome because anal sex is still anal sex condom or not.

Condom usage also allows you free access back into her vagina. Just be sure you remove it carefully and check for tears

Still not a good idea...lube and bits of seepage (Santorum!) that can contain fecal matter will often get on your skin & in your pubic hair above the "lip" of the condom
This can EASILY transmit to her vaginally
Pausing to wash carefully is the best thing
Nice bit about that is she can "soap check" you orally before moving on to the vaginal fun ;)

Yep and that can lead to no fun for a while and sometimes even big nasty pills that look they were mean for horses not people.

Bacterial vaginosis WILL ruin a weekend.

Nope, NEVER do that...by mistake.

Like I always say, no UNINTENTIONAL pain

And guys, keep a rubber on tight, you don't want your cock burning while she writhes in agony on it :D

I've said it before and I'll say it again. James, you are evil!

Personally, I find that condoms make it slightly more dificult. I really can't do it with them as they have a tendancy to 'pull' at your skin if they are even slightly dry. OUCH!!!

I mentioned this in PB's "Condoms" thread
I've started using unlubed ones
I lube up about twice as much as normal, then add a little extar as I go
I still hate 'em
But it beats the alternatives
