In ancient times, extraterrestrial beings visited Earth and interacted with humans, influencing our cultures and affecting our history. The aliens will always be human-looking; I have slight variations like canine teeth, different colored eyes, and odd colored skin on the arms and hands, but other than that, they're humans from another planet. This plotline could either be set in ancient times or modern times.
Ancient times: somewhere like Mayan, Incan, Egyptian, or Greek cultures, you would play a woman who either falls in love with or catches the attention of one of the "Gods"/beings who came from the stars.
Modern times: it has been thousands of years since these beings from another world have visited us and mainstream society believes they don't exist. That is until they openly return. The beings could either be benevolent or malevolent, but either way, they are fond of human women and sex is one of the main reasons for their revisiting our planet.
