He darted after the duo as the larger creature fled, leaving the one who was slightly larger than them behind. He noticed the smoke rising from what seemed to be injuries on the creature's body before he vaulted over the stairs, somersaulting as he sense energy gathering in the long blade he wielded. "Qo... Diiv... Rein!!" he roared, his voice rumbling out like the implacable force of an avalanche. He slashed the blade down as he landed, a arcing jet of deep emerald-teal lightning easily two feet thick arced out, deflecting off the ground in small showers of sparks before slamming into the creature and exploding in a much larger fireball as the creature exploded. He didn't really notice as he turned away with a fluid flourish as he sheathed the long blade that was an inch shorter than his forearm, his gaze on Lalia. He noticed that her arms were wrapped around her abdomen where the armor was battered. "Let's get back to the ship so I can check you over... thoroughly," he said wryly.
