Acheron winced slightly. "Unfortunately, I know nothing of cooking. Knowing my luck, I'd probably burn water," he muttered with embarrassment. It wasn't that he didn't know how to cook, it was more that he had very bad luck with cooking. Hell, somehow, while trying to fix spaghetti once, he'd blown up half of a mountain when adding the noodles to the boiling water. No idea how he'd done that.

Acheron snorted a laugh. "I think I can figure out how to do it," he teased, slicing away most of the unnecessary fat and gristle before he cocked his head, thinking as they were fairly thick pieces of meat. "What would be the best way to slice it to cook it thoroughly enough to keep the meat moist but thoroughly done?" he said softly. The best way for that was to keep it medium to medium well in cooking color with a pinkish red to slightly grayish pink color to the meat. With the thickness, butterflying it would be better, where the meat was laid out flat on a cutting board and cut in half parallel to the board almost all the way to the other, leaving a small "hinge", which is used to fold the meat out like a book.
