Animated Signature?

Ok so that's not what you wanted.go into "User CP"

Click "Edit signature" top left link.

You need to then use the tags around the link to the gif.

And you can place it using no positional tags (it will default to the left) or with
tags around the tags to put it in the center.

I tried that, it doesn't work...

Did you click the "save signature" button afterwards or the "preview signature" button? I found I had made this error in the past when I thought I had pushed the right button anly to find out later it was the wrong one.

I have shown the code I added with a space in the parenthesis so it won’t just show the cat.

since this one is already open, i'll ask here. How would you convert the <a herf> type code to the simple type code? There is a banner i want to add to my sig but the code supplied is the long code and doesn't work here.

But judging by your wanting to use it as an <a href=, you want it to work as a link and I think the best way of doing that would be to link to it in your profile page and link to your profile page with a line in your signature! With HTML turned off in here, I don't think you can use the [HTML] tags to actually work in the signature lines. But you can link to your profile page from your signature line and this would work. If you made a combination of the two, picture on the web and showing with the link to your profile page and the link out from there working.
