Annual Check Up

Erika was a recently married individual and she had been putting off going for her annual check up. She just didn't like all the questions the doctor asked and she didn't like going for blood. But she bit the bullet and decided to make her doctors appointment for after work. Traffic was brutal so she wasn't in a good mood. Her new husband was nagging constantly so she was a bit irritated. She got to the doctors office, signed her insurance papers and sat down. She waited a few minutes before she was sent into an exam room and was told that the doctor would only be a few minutes.

She sat up on the exam chair, wearing her blouse, suit jacket and navy blue skirt that went to her knees. She didn't have time to change and she hoped this doctor wouldn't take forever like all her other doctors usually did. She sighed as she drummed her fingers on the exam table, waiting.
