Loving wife is my go to category when I first check for new stories, but I'm weird, I don't look for btb or cuckold, or even raac. My favorite stories to read are the ones that the wife, maybe with a little help, or maybe, actually preferably on her own, resists temptation and remains faithful to her husband. I look for story titles that suggest it's not a given that she cheats, but that suggests there is a chance she will or won't.

Most times I'm disappointed, it's hard to find faithful wives stories, but it's like watching a movie I've never seen, I'm hoping the good guys win, most of the time anyway. I do enjoy the buildup to the conclusion no matter it turns out. sometime the bitch deserves to be burned, or the bastard.
I don't have anything against the other stories, I have read plenty of BTB and RAAC, and even a few cuck stories that I liked, but my true favorite is faithful wives.

How many others are out there like me, I'm guessing I'm in a minority.

I think you and I are both in the minority but that's okay to each their own.

I dislike the " cuck " stories where the husband plays second fiddle so to speak but is more of a participant or even a conductor like in an orchestra for the wild coupling that's occuring with his wife and other man or better yet other men.

I also prefer where the wife wasn't looking for sex with another man per se but it was more accidental where she was reluctant at first but became immensely aroused where she just couldn't resist any longer.

Like I said to each their own.

Perhaps a faithful wife is tempted by something specific, has to have a hard conversation with her husband about things she feels like she's missing out on, and they work together to make sure they're both feeling fulfilled in their sex life. Could lead to them trying some new things.

I'll admit, when I think of the Loving Wives category, I never imagine a loving story like that. I'm guilty of strictly affiliating LW with BTB/RAAC.

A "Faithful Partner" sub category would be fun to explore.

I wrote a story and It's out to 6 chapters, only the first 3 involve the wife possibly getting revenge on her husband because she was lead to believe he cheated. It is still up but I am rewriting it and editing it, I made a LOT of grammatical and punctuation errors.

I have a separate list with the stories that I have found with a faithful theme. This is one of the best, it is by Lyon796.

That was a wonderful story. It definitely had me thinking one way, then the way it went exceeded my expectations I already had from knowing she was going to remain faithful by the end of it.

Definitely NOT a faithful anybody in this story, more cuck queen, the whole pee thing takes away from it for me and I'm not to much into sci-fi. Most faithful wife stories just involve a husband and wife, the wife may be propositioned or tempted to cheat but she remains faithful to her husband. I have seen a few cheating wife stories where the husband takes offense to the wife with another woman, personally I like those type of stories as long as the husband is involved, ie, ffm, fmf.

Faithful wives aren't common in LW but they exist. Readership largely has fine-tuned antennae for 'cheating' however defined.

Most of my LW stories are hot-wife riffs, but there's one faithful offering you might enjoy. Just enough of a hint of straying that readership picked up on it.

I can understand if it ends in divorce, or something like that, but in many of these BTB stories the actions taken towards the wife can be a little intense. Yes, she cheated, but you don't see that many stories about how bad the cheating husband is punished.

But they are not. I commented on a story a few days ago, where the wife had cheated once. The author actually did a good job of describing the conversations and defenses of both sides reasonably well, but then chose the male side to go forward even though they stayed together. It was a sad dysfunctional story, and family, and ultimately destroyed all parties, husband, wife and child. I commented that it was not a RAAC, but a bitter man who couldn't understand the difference between love and sex, and happened to mention fragile male ego.

I got personally attacked, my stories got attacked, my character got attacked, and was described as something not human. The readers who love these stories will not tolerate any view other than the woman being a whore.

Oh I completely agree. My first experience of writing in LW put me off, i only did a second story to actually try and piss people off and see what sort of reaction I would get, which did not disappoint.

It amazes me how angry these sad men can get over erotica that is fiction.

Yet it’s a common plot twist that the seductive man is himself married, and he is then punished by one of the cheated-on spouses; see also “burn the bastard.” It’s also not uncommon for the two cheated-on spouses to end up together.

So many people like the BTB stories where the it ends in divorce and I agree with some being to much burn to the wife, I haven't really found to many cheating husband stories unless it was what initiated the wife cheating for revenge. It does not bother me in the slightest when some predator gets his ass kicked though. Still with all the comments on the woman being a whore, you would think that the readers would like it when she resisted and they lived happily ever after.

I just got destroyed in the comments on 2 of my stories that are part of a series, I suspect it was due to this thread, they even called me a twat, LOL. I admit that my punctuation SUCKED big time, I am currently re-writing/editing the mistakes and made a few slight changes. I deserved the punctuation comments, but of course they ran down my characters and most did so anonymously, I usually delete them due the fact they were anonymous if they don't offer anything constructive or maybe I find it humorous.

When I read a story and I find the characters not to my liking, and the story turns out in an ending that I don't care for. Sometimes they're really well written but very sad stories, I appreciate them for what they are but I don't flame them in the comments just because I don't like the theme of the story, after all, I read it.

I got a lot of comments that were constructive, they are responsible for me writing/editing the story again off and on for the last year. As far as the comments I rarely delete comments that are posted under their name, I got one that said "Hope Wylie drops the anvil on this mess pretty soon," I guess he never watched the Roadrunner, it doesn't work out well for ole Wylie, LOL. But if you can't put your name and I can see you haven't written anything or anything worth reading and calling me an idiot, well F.O.

And one more thing, everybody calls the characters stupid or dumb, whatever, in a story that is leading up to possibly cheating, how can you not include character flaws to initiate something like this happening. The story would pretty much be boring, ie, Marc LaValliere comes and asked Linda to dance, she tells him she's married and I'm with my husband and Marky goes away, how popular would that be. I would have preferred that ending, and there a few out there where she remains faithful that are pretty good, even one where old Marc eats a bullet.

I guess that's why I think I'm in the minority, it doesn't matter whether she remains faithful or not, she's either a whore or she's going to cheat later. Or the cuck stories which I don't generally care for, they're just all whores and wimps. I have come to the conclusion that people just want to be mad.

I took a risk and posted a story about a loving wife in the Loving Wives category, and it was remarkable what came out of it. It garnered a couple harsh critiques/complaints that no one got fucked over or cheated on, it got a fair amount of category policing, but to my surprise, about half of the readers gave 5 stars to a LW story with no sex, no cheating, and no scandals.

There are clearly some people reading the category who appreciate a story about heartfelt love between a wife and her husband.

That said, this is also the category that ruined my positive experience at Literotica and sent me into early retirement from free writing. This was supposed to be a fun break from writing for a living, where I could post drivel and smut, but my last LW post (three-part series) ended up being the worst experience of my writing career.

This is a category of extremes. It has the best people at Literotica and the worst people at Literotica.
