A Dallas federal judge has been temporarily removed from receiving new cases after a federal judicial council identified a backlog of 78 undecided motions and raised concerns about her handling of court proceedings.

The Fifth Circuit Judicial Council publicly released documents Monday, October 19, detailing ongoing judicial misconduct and disability investigations involving U.S. District Judge Ada E. Brown of the Northern District of Texas. The records also disclose allegations concerning Brown’s interactions with court employees and other judges, as well as her refusal to participate in portions of the investigation.

More Than 40 Recusals And 78 Pending Motions

The judicial council ordered Brown’s existing cases temporarily reassigned on September 29 and excluded her from receiving new assignments for three months or until further notice, whichever comes first.

The magnificent spectacle of U.S. District Judge Ada E. Brown of Dallas presents a truly sublime contribution to the eternal comedy of American jurisprudence. We are treated to the delightful revelation that a learned jurist, invested with the august power to ruin lives and interpret the holy laws of the land, has been caught running her courtroom like a distracted schoolchild. With 78 unresolved motions gathering dust and a sudden whim that made her flee forty separate cases, Her Honor has achieved the remarkable feat of grinding the wheels of justice to a halt. This is crazy. Probably Rob's Favorite.

Your president is a convicted felon. Hush your big, dumb face about "justice."

The unfolding saga of U.S. District Judge Ana C. Reyes offers another grand and illuminating chapter in our great American farce of judicial majesty. Elevated to the federal bench in the nation's capital by President Joe Biden, Her Honor arrived with all the glittering credentials prized by the modern progressive church: she was celebrated as the first Hispanic woman and the first openly LGBTQ+ individual to grace that specific court. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, she apparently brings a fiery, continental temperament directly onto the bench. Now wrapped in the sacred black robes of absolute authority, she has distinguished herself less by the depth of her legal learning than by her specialized talent for screaming at the assembled bar like an enraged Lindsay Clancy fan who just spotted the lone juror.

The depth of this courtroom theater was officially exposed when Chad Mizelle, Chief of Staff to the Attorney General, filed a formal 3-page misconduct complaint detailing how the judge utilized a Department of Justice lawyer as an unwilling physical prop in her personal rhetorical exercises and demanded to know what "Jesus would say" about immigration policies. Yet, in a twist that surprises no one familiar with the cozy guilds of our capital, the complaint was promptly dismissed by her immediate superior, Chief Judge Sri Srinivasan, himself born in Chandigarh, India.

The math of this judicial empire is a masterpiece of ideological engineering. Of the active judges overseeing the key federal courts in the D.C. orbit, a full one-third are now foreign-born. This entire cohort, including Judges Tanya Chutkan, Amit Mehta, Amir Ali, and Sparkle Sooknanan, was systematically appointed by the administrations of Barack Obama and Joe Biden. It represents a deliberate, decade-long effort to penetrate the most important and sensitive legal circuit in the United States with the revolutionary fervor and alien legal instincts of the Third World, transforming our historic common-law temples into mere administrative outposts of a globalist empire.

The defense of the President rests upon a healthy and necessary appreciation for the frailties of human judgment: Donald Trump has never wrapped himself in the spotless robes of immaculate perfection. He is, after all, a mortal man operating in a world of political employment, as evidenced by his occasional lapses into showmanship, including his elevation of Kimberly Guilfoyle to the ranks of his administration. Yet, a crucial distinction must be drawn between an administrative blunder and a fundamental institutional transformation. Whatever one may think of the erratic courtroom habits of U.S. District Judge Ada E. Brown, the lady possesses the supreme, unassailable merit of being a native product of American soil.

You spent an entire post describing how this was Obama and Biden's fault because you searched for the wrong judge on YOUR thread.

Lol....you're a joke.

How about Michael Cohen, Scaramuch, Noem, Manafort... Shall I go on with the list of failed appointments, etc ?

Actually, it's your lack of reading comprehension. Those Obama and Biden judges mentioned are in a post concerning the DC Circuit. Judge brown is a judge in Dallas, Texas, in the Fifth Circuit. To conflate a Texas jurist with the cosmopolitan legal elite of Washington is a piece of profound, bovine ignorance typical of Democrats.

Judge Ana Reyes ended the nearly seven-hour hearing by backing away from her initial demand that Justice Department attorneys arguing the case put their names alongside Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward Jr.’s Sunday filing. Reyes had invoked Rule 11, which requires attorneys to stand behind the factual basis of court filings and can subject them to sanctions for violations.

"Late breaking news," Reyes said. "I'm going to withdraw request that DOJ refile yesterday's brief with identification of who signed it. we've all got better things to spend our time on."

It appears that U.S. District Judge Ana C. Reyes has suffered a sudden, unexpected attack of judicial sobriety, prudently scaling back her overreaching ambitions to serve as the supreme director of federal forestry. Faced with the raw, unvarnished threat of public exposure and a blistering executive counterattack, Her Honor has abruptly discovered the virtues of constitutional humility in the East Potomac Golf Course dispute.

So you changed the scope of your thread and everyone else is supposed to know this.

Got it

Study Shows Foreign-Born Judges Rule Against Trump’s Migration Reforms

Tom Williams/CQ Roll Call
Warner Todd Huston20 Oct 2026359

An audit of decisions handed down by all 58 foreign-born federal judges looks to see if they are more likely to favor migrants’ legal claims and to oppose President Donald Trump’s border policies.

The decisions by the federal judges were measured against the decisions by the rest of the federal judiciary to see how the decisions by foreign judges stack up against the rest.

“Across the full 58-judge cohort, anti-border enforcement rulings average 61.9% (vs. the 34.0% U.S. federal court baseline) and below-guideline criminal departures average 45.3% (vs. 31.0% nationally),” the audit found.
The study was conducted by the watchdog group Bench Receipts, an organization that tracks actions by the judiciary, prosecutors, and sheriffs.

The audit looked at the decisions by federal judges who are Article III judicial appointees, or judges appointed to the bench by a U.S. president and approved by the U.S. Senate. The audit meant to answer the question of whether foreign-born judges were softer on crime and if they more often ruled against America’s safety and immigration laws.

Chad Mizelle is a political hack. He got on Trump's radar screen by piously intoning that everything good in Murica is because of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and everything bad in this country is the fault of George Soros and his minions. Trump liked the cut of his jib.

Mizelle was one of the primary author's of Trump's 2020 "NO MOAR BROWN PEOPLE" immigration policy.

His primary work for the government was quashing every single federal lawsuit from people opposing the Hewlett Packard - Jupiter Networks lawsuit, after which he suddenly became fabulously wealthy for some reason and gladly accepted an opportunity to resign at the request of Congress.

The Lord helps those who helps themselves.....to the government contractor trough.

Whatever happened to Alina Habba, Trump's Iraqi lawyer who graduated from writing letters for a parking garage to be appointed Acting US Attorney for New Jersey?

Disqualified.

To Rob's frantic charge that Mizelle is merely a "political hack" who rode into power on a wave of pious platitudes, my reply is written in the smoking ruins of his opponents' legal strategy. While our Houston critic was busy drafting poetic insults, Mizelle was quietly delivering a masterclass in aggressive executive power. He didn't merely survive his high-profile showdown with U.S. District Judge Ana C. Reyes over the East Potomac Park golf links; he outmaneuvered her. By filing a blistering, 13-page motion that exposed her courtroom "histrionics" and political bias to the light of day, he forced a volcanic Biden appointee to back down entirely, deny the preservationists' injunction, and permit the administration's project to move forward on schedule. To accuse a man of being an ineffective sycophant when he has just successfully housebroken a defiant federal jurist is a piece of Texas bovine bewilderment that belongs in an asylum rather than a political debate.
