Not using that story but the struggle the story represents. We want someone who we know we shouldn’t move on.Me too (moved in religious circles). What church was that? Asking for a friend, so... we can avoid it. Yeah. That's it. We wouldn't ever purposefully seek out sin.
Also, It was Solomon's father, David, a man after "God's own heart," and Bathsheba. Her husband was Uriah the Hittite. Don't get me started on the Hittites.
I think Paul wrote “I do what I don’t want to and I don’t do what I want to” - writing about the struggle is relative to many of our lives.
I am new but a few stories wrote this very well.
