Hmmmm? just wonderin. (Macbeths pic of Crono sparked it actually) I dont think anyone is to old for video games. my dad just had his 60th birthday yesterday and he plays RPG's up the yin yang on his small amount of free time.

What kinda games do you enjoy?

I like just bout anything as long as its fun. I know some just stick to what they know, but I usually play anything. Sep sports, but i do occasionally pick up a basketball game to play.

I don't have a whole lot of free time,but when I do I love historical simulations and most RPGs..as for example;

"Romance of The Three Kingdoms"
"Civilization"

As well as most of the RPGs made by Squaresoft.

I love RPG games as does my whole family including my dad who also is 60 yrs old. I love em for the same reason I love this board...I get to be someone else if only for a little while and Mystery, you know what I am talking about when I say that as we have talked on AIM about it enough times.

i love RPGs.. started with the first Legend of Zelda.. then there was Dragon Warrior (anybody remember that golden oldie?)..

for a while i strayed away, doing action and fighting games, but then i found Final Fantasy III (VI) for the Super Nintendo.. it's from FF3 that i got the idea for a character i use i a whole lot of stuff, and i've always wanted to write him into a story, but have never gotten very far..

now i play the Baldur's Gate series heavily.. Icewind Dale is good if you're in the mood to wander aimlessly around and kill creatures mystical and magical, but BGII has the better story and is longer (and it's got SEX!! sort of)

I'm a big unreal tournament fan as well!
Used to play Quake a long time ago in the UK league...i was hooked to it!

I a mega game fan i think; i play all types of games and love em! I'm always going to arcades to play all the latest games and I've got over 50 games on my psx now...

I play these computer and video games, Baldur's Gate 1&2, Planescape: Torment, Icewind Dale, Final Fantasy 3-9, Unreal Tournament, Wheel of Time, Ultima Online, American McGee's Alice, The Sims, SimCity2k-3k, and a bunch of others!! mostly RPG's with some stratagy games thrown in , games I'm waiting for are ShadowBane, Neverwinter Nights, Pools of Radience: Ruins of Myth Drannor.

Role-playing games I play are Ad&D 2nd edition, D&D 3rd edition, and Shadowrun!! cept have't really played the paper&pen games in about 2 years :-(

Most Definitely! Squaresoft games are my faves, but I'll play almost any RPG's that are decent. I liked Summoner on PS2 and loved The Bouncer, but it was too short!!! Lately I've been combing Lunar 2 for anything I may have missed...I've yet to find a Bromide of Ronfar! I love to play late at night when I can't sleep, and I also play online on The Realm. I used to do EQ and UO but got tired of them, sadly.

I've been playing Chrono Cross recently and it's an amazing game....i'm even gonna go as far as to say it's better than FF8 although i might get lynched for it..

I will agree with ya on Chrono Cross. Though Chrono Trigger still beats it out in my eyes. (which im playing again right now by the way, dusted off my old SNES)
But not for long because its being rereleased for Playstation with FMV's!!!! Finally!

oh and FF6 is the king of RPG's. nuff said.

I wish I have high bandwhidth. Or else I would play the first person shooters and strategy games all the dang time.

Here's a real gamers fact, FF2 on the gameboy easily ranks up there as one of the greatest rpgs ever....hell i remember completing it four times just because i loved it so much. Not to mention another sparkling game called Gargoyle which also seems lost to posterity...
