Yeah you would hate it...that first time you see it you'd probably like it....but after dealing with it for months on end it becomes a pain in the ass...especially if you have to drive in it lol. Although the cooler temperatures does make it alot funner to cuddle up together under the blankets!

Good plan, there's no need to shovel A/C. Course you can't make A/C angels either. (a g/f in university used to make snow angels-said she liked being helped out of her wet clothes)

A perfect winter would be one month of fresh, deep snow to get to do all the winter activities and then early summer/fall weather for the rest of the year. (avoid the spring melt/mud)

Early spring here is lots of mud and rain (if someone's into that)-it's most beautiful September October-still nice enough to be outside and have fun, but no bugs, overheating or schoolkids to take up all the nice nature spots.
