Any Red Dwarf fans here?? How about Tomb Raider?

I just went to the movies last night and saw Tomb Raider. Right at the beginning, they show a close-up of Lara Croft's butler and I said really loudly "Is that Rimmer?" and my friend started cracking up. The people in the car next to use started laughing too.
Luckly I was at a drive-in so I didn't disturb anyone with my revalation. :D
But good ole Rimmer is in it (Chris Barrie, I think that's his name).
I thought it was very funny.

Anyway, the movie was decent, but too short!
Yummy Angelina Jolie is in it and there's some male eye candy for the straight girls!
I also saw Down to Earth (with Chris Rock) it was pretty funny!

Funny...I am in Ohio...and I saw Tomb Raider at the drive-in last night. I recall being disturbed by a car next to me. But I'm not in eastern Ohio.

Movie was good. Angelina Jolie visited my dreams last night. And I'm straight. *shrug*

Don't know any red dwarves though. Unless you count the time my 6 yr old had a reaction to a sulfa antibiotic and turned bright red.

It wasn't me, I swear!!
:D

Actually the drive in was in W. Virginia!

I liked the movie, could have been better. But it was still good

I think Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon has ruined me for other movies!

I loved that movie so much!

i'm a BIG Dwarfer!
i have every single show taped, uninterupted, with no commercials up to season five or six, i think... the season before Rimmer (hologram) leaves to become Ace...

though i lent them all to friends in Alaska

Chris Barrie...

...is a very much underrated star.

American's who are fans of Red Dwarf only know him through that show but in the UK he became even more famous as, Mr Brittas, the manager of a leisure centre.

The show was hilarious and was called, of course, The Brittas Empire.

Dwarf and Empire were made some years apart from each other but Chris Barrie hadn't aged at all between the two.

He is also a very accomplished mimic and can copy accents and dialects from all over the world although his normal speaking voice is very, very up-market English!

A fine actor...

lucky dog.

I love the drive in. Unfortunately, they don't have them anymore up north here in Wisconsin.

Me too. Where are you Red Dwarf? Where are you-oo-oooo?

*Starts sobbing like a wee girl*

We're lucky over here...

...they show re-runs all the time...

Public Broadcast System... Public Television... it's how we "yanks" watch the Crimson Short One, Dr. Who, The Brittas Empire, and a whole pile of other Brit shows...

they had Monty Python on for a while, but stopped showing it... BASTARDS!!

*singing* It's cold outside, there's no type of atmosphere....

I LOVE Red Dwarf!!!! Everytime they show a marathon of all the seasons I watch it!

I confess

I have watched Red Dwarf and really love it.

I sit the whole time thinking omg what in the world is going on. lol

and I love that saying smeg off i have a feeling it isn't nice though.

Red Dwarf pretty good except got a bit purile in later episodes :)
Favourite bit- Dwain Dibley dance

Brittas Empire, hehe purile in many ways but one of the few programs to make me laugh out loud.
Favourite but - when the leisure centre burns down, and
Brittas is standing holding up the ceiling (care of a gym weight
stuck down his back) and Colin says something like 'And now theres only one back down their to save' (aka Big John)

Loadsalaughs.

Yay! More Dwarfers!

I love Red Dwarf. Lately it's been on every night at 11:00pm on my PBS station. :D

Red Dwarf

I prefer pulsars and quasars and the occasional black hole, so no I don't guess I am a red dwarf fan.

Big Dwarf fan here, my favourite one is where they are attacked by a monster that mutated out of a lamb curry Lister was eating.
:D :D :D

just a small reminder of the good old days......

...before they introduced women!
