I saw them at a club back in 98, they put on a great show. I still listen to them every now and then, It's one of my bands of choice when I'm in a well, not nice mood. :)

Whoever mentioned In Flames has great fuckin taste!I like Wolf Moon btw from Type O :)

They are fantastic. Bloody kisses is easily one of my favorite albums. Have seen them live a few times. Best one was when Coal Chamber opened for them. They were touring for World Coming Down. Peter's been sick for a while so they had to cancel their last tour. Just checked their website and nothing new, but last I heard he was doing much better and they were getting ready to do a new album. Looking forward to it, and yes Christian Woman is a fanastic song to listen and have slow, sensual sex to.

type o

my band opened up for type o about 10 years ago, pete was the funniest guy you would ever meet, and the whole band treated us great

LOVE some Type O Negative! I woke up to "Die with Me" on my iPod this am. I was so sorry to hear that Peter Steele passed away not long ago. I started listening to them later on and October Rust is my favorite album, although Bloody Kisses is a close second. ;)

I saw them for the first time in '93 or '94 when they were touring for Bloody Kisses (they opened for Motley Crue that time I think). I had no idea who they were and when they started playing I was in awe. Raw power and sensuality. I was hooked! I actually left after they were done - I had just seen the best show of my life, why stay for the left overs ;)

Danzig is another favorite for me, so I'm happy that Johnny is drumming for him now.

I'm jealous of everyone who saw them live, I never got a chance. Now I just wear the CDs out!

*gasps* I thought I was the only one left out there for a few years... LOL

tragic to hear about his passing:(

Honestly, the CDs just don't do them justice IMO. But at least we have the CDs to wear out! I'd be lost without my mix on long trips. Great driving music.

P.S. I love Concrete Blonde too :) Tomorrow, Wendy is an awesome song.
