That's not fun. A kid not doing what they want is painful. I'd send mine out into the garden, and say it's time for a nature search, what leaves were about or feathers. But, as they got older it'd be harder.

Oh we went out for a big walk with the dog and that was lovely. And he used to love activities like that when he was younger but now he's all about his gadgets
