Morning UK’ers. Last year I joined Lit (under the name Strent) and then left after 11 months, was really struggling with creativity and other issues. I was not the best lit’er either, and a couple of incidents on the forum left an impression on me.

In the grand scheme of things, what happened wasn’t awful but for anyone who remembers, you do have my apologies. I’ve come back in an attempt to finally finish writing my NSFW novel and focus on that and just trying to be a part of the furniture.

Hope everyone is safe and well and has been enjoying the hot weather for all the right reasons!

They will need to comply, doesn't matter if they're a USA based site or not:

"...The Act applies to services even if the companies providing them are outside the UK should they have links to the UK. This includes if the service has a significant number of UK users, if the UK is a target market, or it is capable of being accessed by UK users and there is a material risk of significant harm to such users..."

It's my understanding that wahtever systems the act requires of a site need to be in place by next friday.

Does anyone know if Lit has anything in place, intends to? I've not seen any notice given and I'd hate to wake up one morning and find I can't log in.
