Anyone from the UK?

Today, no one seems to be posting what they had for breakfast. Learned something very important again: Brits only eat breakfast from Monday to Friday.
We barbarians on the continent also eat breakfast on weekends. I have fresh rolls with jam and fruit tea.

Had croissants this morning.

All eaten with the requisite French accent. No maid, unfortunately

So I initially thought “oh a mouse, no problem” and then I realised in order to get at a specific part of the kitchen, it had to physically move several bottles of wine that were sat there. Which it seems to have done really easily…

I've learned that in Scotland a blueberry is something a man can have for breakfast. Provided he's gay too.

Overnight oats with banana and honey and a large mug of earl grey tea.

I'm having overnight oats during the week. I love them, but that's enough.
Earl Grey is an afternoon tea in told. In Britain. Are you a first like me? Do they accept you? I mean, they don't know how to eat pies properly. Every sane person uses a spoon, right?
Except it's Shepard's Pie, then, and only then a fork may be acceptable.

I live near France. French breakfast is overrated. I mean croissants are nice, but given the choice I skip the baguette and the strawberry jam and go for black pudding or roast beef with horseradish for the second breakfast.
For the first a pretzel with butter and a HUGE mug of black tea with milk is in order.

So I I've learned. I was asked if I wanted my tea with milk and sugar and I refused both. And the nice secretary have me exactly that. Black tea with milk.
Disgusted I tried and found it tasty. I drink it with milk ever since

Recently got introduced to it. It’s wonderful. You can get tea bags but you need to infuse them in the boiling water first then mix in the milk, boiling it all before drinking. It’s reasonably spicy

Curcuma is the family, Turmeric is the spice made of one of the plants of the family.
In short, yes it's the same.

I drink it as tea. It's made with milk, not water.
I never tried mixing butter with turmeric. Sounds lovely. The last I tried is porcinos. Huge success.

The turmeric really gets right into the butter, then spread on something like pikelets
