There’s some real gems in there, to be fair.Hello again, everyone. Since my earlier message I've been going through all of Maude's posted works, as I promised. Now to put my thoughts in order for the feedback PM.
I've never heard of Mett before but it sounds interesting, is it like Tartar?Today is the Christmas party at our fire station. I know you Brits eat strange things. Most of it is very tasty.
What we traditionally always have is Mett. It's raw minced meat, lightly seasoned and salted. It's eaten with raw onions on bread. It's actually a breakfast food. We also call it fire brigade jam. I almost prefer to eat it like the French do, with raw egg.
So if a European mocks your eating habits in future, now you know.
And next time, we'll talk about mite cheese.
Of course we also have other food here. And Glühwein for later.
I was thinking that... but I looked up Mett and it said pork rather than beef. Either way, I'm not brave enough!I've never heard of Mett before but it sounds interesting, is it like Tartar?
Gluwein has been a friend on many a European winter excursion. Xx
