We had our work quiz last night as part of the xmas do, and I was all excited, until they decided to do a 'work related' quiz - 'Which teams looks after X and Y?' and 'in which year did we win the award for X?'

God it was dull and self congratulatory!!

If you run a business - please don't do this. Or, if you do, at least make it interest:

'Which line manager has slept with the most of his direct reports?'

etc.

Sorry, ranting. Cheap red wine and a mostly bad meal.

That is indescribably terrible. Just who came up with that idea and decided “hey mandatory training, that’ll go great in the Xmas do”. There’s truly not enough good or bad red wine to justify that
