The M25 is a genuine circle of hell. Try getting out of Ealing via the A40 on a weekday. I’d rather hang, it’s mind numbing.

Conservatory tidied up, weekly food shop done. Just got to iron my uniform and cook a sausage and lentil tray bake for lunch tomorrow.

A Bavarian breakfast. Nice!! I sometimes make my own Obatzda and it is worth buying a good mature Camembert for extra tanginess!!

A Bavarian breakfast. Nice!! I sometimes make my own Obatzda and it is worth buying a good mature Camembert for extra tanginess!!

I'm not Bavarian, but I love that for breakfast. It beats the Weißwurst in my opinion by far.
Where I'm from we just have a cup of coffee or tea with a pretzel or muesli for breakfast. For the first one at least.
The second one, two or three hours later is real food. Cold meat with horseradish, speck with bread or real bread with jam and butter if you like sweet.
If you are a craftsman or similar and have your breakfast on site it's a Strammer Max. A strammer Max is a bread roll with meatloaf, a fried egg and pickled gherkin. You can add mustard if you like.

That's the view from the Ifen hut to the south east. Just in case you people want to try the Alp Chips they are selling. Like normal ones but no ketchups bullshit. Rich cheese sauce and smoked meat. It's marvellous when you're sitting in the nice -8°C sunshine.
