It’ll be my first one - others seem to do well from it. I am trying to write a standalone Peta/Sam short story to fit between the novel and the sequel, which may or may not work. I feel it would work for you as it would get your other work out there. Worth a try, check out the contest rules and see if it fits your writing.

Tools go back in drawers, boots by the mat, thoughts already halfway home.
Tea tastes better. Pints feel earned. The road hums with promise.

Tonight belongs to soft chairs, loud laughter, long sighs, and plans that do not own a schedule.
