Anyone from the UK?

its not my flat its rented so better not go cutting a whole in the backdoor :ROFLMAO:
That’s a shame! A long story but we weren’t allowed to cut through any of our doors so my husband had to cut a cat flap (more like escape tunnel) through a wall. Watching our cat, who’s not the slimmest, essentially military crawl through it is quite a sight.

Good morning all members of the United Kingdoms of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Hope you are all hale and hearty.

Tell me about it, bet your cats dont just sit there looking at you when you call them back in

my Butch does that every time :ROFLMAO:
Tell me about it.
Of our four cats.

Tiggy, (22) spends the day sleeping in a cardboard box, never leaves the utility room, only gets up to eat and shit.

Fudge (17) gets up at the crack of dawn, walks all over us until we get up and let her out. Goes out to drink water from the watering can even though there is a fresh water fountain in the house.
When its raining she has to go and sit on the deck and get soaked before drying off on our legs.

Kimi (5) he has to have the backdoor open all day, otherwise he sing songs around the house. If you close the door on him while outside, he will come inside and piss on the bed. But he is the prince of the house and is spoilt rotten. (We rescued him from an abusive home. He was locked in a cage for 12 hours a day)

Cassie (4) she's small, short and fat, looks like a cross between a cat and a raccoon. Barely goes out, but when she does its just as youre closing the door for the night, so you have to get up at midnight when she meows to come in. (Rescued feral from a gypsy camp)

Sorry had to do it.

I'm Team Tiggy....

Morning Angels and Demons, I hope you all had a fantastic Saturday night.
I'm just slobbing around in my PJs and trying to figure out whether to fight the hangover or have a few glasses today as well.

Xx

I used to prefer dogs to cats. But having owned both. It's a different experience with either. Cats are more independent and less of a burden when staying out the house. But the loyalty of a dog is hard to match.

Good evening all, Well Spring is officially here and it's not been too bad weatherwise. It's been a tad breezy which made the last few miles of this afternoons bike ride tough going but they do say, "no pain, no gain".
No doubt I'll be as stiff tomorrow (and not in a good way 😂).
Keeping fit and getting old really don't mix 🤣.

What did you decide? My guess will be you opted for a few more glasses today 🤔😏

@joclfc When the treaty of the Union was ratified in 1707, Wales was already classed as part of England, since the Laws in Wales acts of 1535 and 1542. Not repealed until 1967.

The 1707 act and then the later 1800 act was the union of the Kingdoms of England (with Wales being part of it), Scotland, and Northern Island.

That was the version I was using.

However. Since 1927, UK actually only means Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The legal terminology for Wales is, the combined area of the 8 preserved counties of Wales as outlined in the Government act of 1972.

But yes i didnt mean to miss you. Hi Wales.
