Anyone from the UK?

Morning all. Start to another week.
Hope youre all well and Caffeined up.

Oh I love a wander up a Lidl Middle. 75% tat, 24% whats that, 1% want that.

But no trip to Lidl is complete without cheese twists.
They had a chainsaw on Saturday. Was very difficult to resist.:LOL:

My Sainsbury’s has been doing it regularly for a few years. I’ve even tried telling them how annoying it is from a customer’s point of view. 🤦🏻‍♂️

My sainsbugs has decided to do a massive switch around, fruit and veg where clothes used to be... No booze... Everyone was wandering round confused and disoriented! Horrible 🤣

I used to be a manager at Sainsburys, now imagine how annoying it is for staff to do it.

But there is method in the madness.

I presume the method is to make people look at what’s on the shelves and entice them into buying stuff they don’t really need.

Yep thats it exactly. There are lots of retail tricks people don't realise. Clothes and card shops having the temperature and layout just a little uncomfortable for men, makes the rush purchases, and because we don't like to return things when we've made a mistake we end up buying more items.

This is fair, it's also an expansion rather than just a shuffle around so must be even more annoying for staff!
Worst was when I worked for Makro. Once a fortnight we had what was known as Makro Mail Wednesday. From 5pm Tuesday to 9pm close, we had change all promotional items, make signage, move all the stock around. It was insane.
