Yes and no.

I'm not a reader, I get bored reading books. Sherlock is a great character though and I'm more about movies.

Robert Downey Jrs movies were good but more about action, the new TV series with Johnny Lee Miller is enjoyable and although it's not actually Sherlock, House (which is heavily based on Sherlock) will always be a huge favourite.

But I'm willing to bet you've already swore at me heavily for the above.

I've read the books. Seen the movies. RDJ and Jude Law worked. But Benedict Cumberbatch made it work for me! You should follow it!

I read the books though liked the tv series better. He's cocky, love that. And 'The Scandal In Belgravia' episode was maddening! Who calls him bi??

I agree that the tv series is better than the movies. Benedict is a truer representation of the older sherlock Holmes.

I've read the books and liked them very much. As for film adaptations, I prefer the series from the 80s and 90s with Jeremy Brett.

I've haven't seen the Benedict Cumberbatch representation of him but I think my favourite has got to be the Young Sherlock Holmes movie. I could watch that again and again.

I do tend to prefer characters with flaws, but Young Sherlock has a kind of cockiness that really made him likeable.

Look at the older stuff as well the Jeremy Brett tv shoes were good and hinted at the darker side and of course Basil Rathbones films were fun but if it is because you have a crush on the leading man you will have to see the new star trek film when its out

You mean Chris Pine. I'm a big fan of his but how did you make the connection from old Sherlock tv shows to him?

It has been the best in a while. I started reading the books in my late teens. Classics all of them

Who doesn't love a dominatrix, my only knowledge of her is the RDJ movies, loved the relationship between the two of them.
