Maybe we could just let Box rest. His politics and obtuseness bugged the hell out of me, but he was a legitimate Literotica user. He was a long-time story author with a big portfolio of stories. I don't know about every having been a Mod, but he picked up the Survivors Contest management when it was in its death throes and extended its life for a bit. In contrast to many others posting on the GB, he paid his dues for participating on Literotica.

I thought so, too, and constantly told him so because I found him frustrating. That said, he paid his dues to the Web site for being here--which is something that most posting to the GB can't say. He's gone. Vilifying him now is just mean.

I agree with Keith, let him rest in peace now. I do not recall him being as vicious as BoBo and some other rabid Lit fascists.

I want to assure you I did not start this thread with bad intent, I honestly wondered what happened to the guy. I made a mistake of searching his activity by name (thinking he might have been banned) when I should have searched for his name as text (the top result would have been about his death).

Funny how I just assume the RWCJ never die, they just get banhammered.

This was my feeling--that he wasn't malicious. He was just dumb as a fence post. And not being malicious put him in the upper half of those tolerable on the GB, with actually being a Literotica author putting him even higher.
 
Too bad that as a proportion of gain, the market under Obama has outperformed that under Trump. Go figure.
