The ad said: “using hi tech pattern recognition and optimized algorithmic insight, our app provides an individualized strategy for acquiring and copulating with the target of your affection.”

You clicked on it, thinking of your crush: maybe that coworker who you really vibed with, or an ex who was a terrible partner but great in bed, or a celebrity who was out of your reach…and the app gave you a step by step plan for seducing them. Though you can’t help but note the warning: “PLAN MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY”

Essentially story ideas regarding an app that will give you a plan of seduction but the steps may seem nonsensical or require insane timing. If you follow the plan exactly you are guaranteed sex…deviate and something bad will happen. Of course, even if you succeed, it doesn’t have an exit plan for the next day or what to do if things go south immediately after.

one idea: the app has a free version with ads. Guy gets the free version and right when he is at the last two steps, an unstoppable ad plays.

But proper example: coworker. “Go to the sidewalk wearing your cowboy boots”

“Okay”

“Only your cowboy boots”

“What happens after that?”

“Next step: get arrested for public indecency”

For a "difficult" target (and when using the free version) the app uses indirect methods. For instance, it makes Mister App User more attractive by giving instructions like, "Volunteer for extra hours at work" (because success is sexy) and "Work out every Tuesday and Friday at the gym. Do these exercises." (because fit is sexy) and "Date Renata, using these methods to convince her to go out with you" (because being attractive to other women is sexy).

By the time he finishes this 18-month sequence, he's not even interested in Adelaide any more. He's too good for her now. She asks him out, but he's just gone exclusive with Renata.

You flip it into chain-of-thought reasoning mode and it works through both the plan....and the reasons for it. Obviously it burns your allowance of tokens faster.

But what will you find out....?

There is a series on here where a woman uses an app for sex. https://www.literotica.com/s/ama-the-boyfriend-ch-01-10

Initially, she uses it on other women to get into their pants, all the while she has a boyfriend. Then she has an awakening and realizes, cheating is cheating. This is back story.

The story starts when they are on their way to a houseboat trip with other people, mostly women. All the women are professional cosplayers. The girlfriend, uses the app to make her boyfriend - already hunky - even more desirable. She gives him permission to have sex with any/all of them in an effort to even the scales.

There is some drama between them as he feels the pain of being cheated on and she doesn't get over the guilt.

But they have the trip, adventures happen and most all of them move forward into a harem type situation, with some of FF bisexuality. At this point, its a long, ongoing series that I have enjoyed.

The author - BreakTheBar - actually has several harem series.

I'm more interested in the behind the scenes of this. Who built the app? What is their goal? Is the app open source, but paid for free ads if you don't want / can't side load it / build it from source? If it's proprietary, what happens to all the data? Where does it go? Does the app work locally or through cloud systems? Does the app is a form of AI?

I guess that's just me leaning into dystopias, but I like more the dystopian idea of a kinky Big Brother type of organization who pretend to be voyeurs but are just kinky, and this app is just an excuse.

This is Black Mirror applied to sex.

Yea, an AI that knows so much about you it can sell a how-to guide on manipulating you is nightmare fuel.

I don't think I'd put this in the Mind Control category, but it might push a lot of the same buttons for some people.

As a humorous alternative, someone releases an app that claims to do this, but is actually a way to trick the users into doing humiliating things. "She'll fall in love with you if you streak the football game, trust me" "He'll totally take you back if you film yourself doing this sex act, I promise". But it's just the app developer getting other people to indulge in his exhibitionism kink.

Yeah, I suspect there's a fair bit of AI as Universal Cyrano going on already. With a chain of thought reasoner model you could also have it dig into the motivations involved....

I could see a developer using common day technology to develop something like this. It would be called something like "Best Chance" and would be a powerful search engine that can dig deeply into names of persons at a user's request. For example, say you are interested in the best way to win over "Mary Tomorrow" (fake name), give her address, her phone number if you know it, and other personal information. The search engine looks at every single footprint Mary Tomorrow has left, and develops the best plan to win her affection.

The twist? The developer's wife decides she's not happy with her husband working all the time on this new project, so she tries Best Chance because she's always been interested in the young fireman that lives across the street. The program kicks out her best chance program, and she leaves her developer husband using his own product to live a happier life.
