Are lesbians more sexually open and adventerous then straight women?

I know asking this here might be a bit baised, and that it may not be able to make exact comparisons in some curcumstances. But still, am I wrong or are lesbians more adventerous and more willing to try knew things and apt to experiment more then str8 chicks?

I'm not sure we can answer your question unless you clarify a little. When you ask about lesbians and straight women being adventurous, do you mean only with lesbian sex ? Or do you mean with any type of sex? What I'm getting at is that lesbians would not be very adventurous in the world of heterosexual sex, and straight women would not (unless they're bisexual) be too adventurous in the world of homosexual sex. At least, that would be my assumption. Or are you asking whether lesbian sex is more exciting than straight sex? If that's what you mean, then I think it depends upon the people involved. As a general rule, you find all types in every group of people. Just because someone is a lesbian doesn't mean she must be sexually adventurous. She can be anywhere from timid to wild, and the same goes for any straight woman.

All other things being equal I mean sex with a partner of whatever thier preference is. If its possible to compare the advernturousness if w/w sex and compare it to the willingness to experiment and spic things up to a straight m/f sexual liason.

It's because I personally find women more difficult to get along with in general.

So am I right in assuming most of your platonic relationships are with men then? interesting...

One of the reasons is that women are really calculating and manipulative.

I knew a bisexual woman once, who couldn't stand other women because she said they were all calculating, back-stabbing, back-talking and petty. So she hung out with mostly men, it must be really hard for her to find women to have sex with when she has such mixed emotions of attraction and repulsion to other women.

Then again most women are probably much more complicated then the average man (especially with emotional things like that).

Yes, they are. I have very few female friends who I would consider even remotely close. In fact, they are mostly people I have interacted with online while my close male friends are real life relationships (ex: my best friend of 20 years)

Anyways, in response to this thread:
I am a lesbian and am unadventurous and rather closed sexually.

As usual, I think most of society's expectations of lesbians are based on straight male desire and fear than actual lesbians. Of course, being as lesbians are part of society, many seem to fall into the trap of expecting things from themselves and others are fairly unrealistic.

I'm sure it's possible to compare lesbian sex with straight sex, but I don't think it would be very meaningful. I think how adventurous couples are depends upon the personalities of the individuals involved much more than it does upon their sexual orientation.

Well, I've never had sex with a straight woman, so it's really impossible for me to say.

:)

Is that just because you naturally get along with men better and have just always been a man's kind of women (women who like to hang with the guys) or is it more in response to bad experiences with other women like a former friend stealing a boyfriend/girlfriend from you in the past?

Well...I don't know! I'm bi and shy! This lady I worked with who is also bi was always telling me about her sexcapades...so it depends on the person IMO.
