"I already told you," Sabbath said. "Stop trying so hard. It doesn't go over with me."

She shrugged. What else was she supposed to say? She'd noticed Dustin because he was quiet, strong, and didn't compromise himself to impress others. Now he was giving her the exact opposite impression. Sabbath hoped he'd go back to being the guy she'd first taken notice of.

"I....I'm sorry M'lady,I was just trying to get you to like me,I guess I am not really worthy" Dustin said sounding somewhat defeated as he looked down at the tables.Just now,the waiter brought back their food, putting the bowl of soup infront of Dustin and Sabbath's food infront of her.

Lifting the warm china glass in his hand,he set the edge of the dish to his lips and tipped the bowl back, letting the warm soup pour back into his mouth. The warm broth tasted good and the chicken peices were tender. The warm waters seemed to sober him up.

Setting the cup down,he lifted the clothes they gave it and whipped his chin of the excess of the broth. There was still some soup left but not much.SIlently looking across at her, offering a slight smile he quietly watched her,yet did not stare,he didnt want to come off as creepy.
