True, but I'm not overly good with manipulation yet I know some basics, but that's about it.

My thoughts were to use colly's AV and warp an image around her leg, so you could still see the shape of her leg, but not the texture..however, to do this, I would need a much larger version of Colly's AV

Okay, then do that. Try to get hold of Mel and see if she can give you a bigger version of the AV.

Okay, I can't do the idea I had. I really don't know enough about photoshop If anyone else wants to try their hand at the idea I stated, feel free.

Perhaps it would be easier and quicker if all the artists who are doing this simply submit the works directly to Colly's SO. Let her pick?

Or why does it have to be a competition at all, why not a group effort ?

She posted on one of the Colly threads, that she's in the process of packing and moving, but will keep in touch. I honestly don't think she'll have the time currently to view them all.

Suggest you have a word with Imp....or maybe post on the book thread??

I'm okay with a group project but whatever we do we need to decided soon.

If we want we can all go out and take nature pictures and then pick one or two and modify it. I'm not the best with photoshop but I'm good enough to come up with something. Or if we do want to do a contest I am still open to helping alter an image.


Also, I've talked to Imp and there is a possibility that they will need sketches for one or two of colly's stories. Once she has everything formated into the book she will let us know what pictures she needs. Cealy said she was interested and I talked to DG and he is willing to help as well. We will be short on time but I think it will be well worth the extra effort and time if we can all pull together for this.

I'm going to try to do something this weekend. I'm not too worried about doing a contest or challenge thread for this due to the really short notice that had originally been given on it. It'll be easier for everyone to produce a piece and submit directly to the thread that Imp provided the link for. Especially since they may want more than one piece for the tribute book.

Just get to work and get it in quickly. That's probably the best way for this to go.

Not a problem

I went out to take some pics. I have them but my luck ran out and my cam went bonkers on me. The quality of the pics are not to my liking but I'll tinker with it and see what I can do.

If anyone has art to submit.....even if it needs touch up....email Imp. We might be able to use it. Here's her addy....

well.....
I went out took a bunch of pics but nothing turned out right. My old cam is dying and the quality sucked plus I'm not that good at photomanipulation or my imagination ran out.

They are still in need of a cover design so if anyone has anything submit to the Anthology thread itself.

I did come up with something. Not the surreal landscape though.
