Israel is blowing the shit out of the Houthi's and the clock is counting down on Iran.

Mexico is bending the knee now. Apparently the business community there was able to explain to el Presidente exactly what the consequences of fucking around might be.

China is getting mighty unstable, part of that is in response to Trumps election but most of it is self-inflicted by Xi's policies. Hitting China with targeted tariff's on top of what they're doing to themselves might be the final straw.

Continuing with China, their "Belt and Road" deals in Africa are starting to blow up in their faces. Further the African citizens are beginning to attack Chinese wherever they might be found. Actually a great deal of the world is over China and their antics.

Soy boy up in Canada will be gone by Oct., perhaps as soon as Mar. His own party would do a vote of no confidence today but they know what's going to happen with new elections. So they're going to stall for time, waiting for divine intervention I suppose.

Starmer is already gone, he just doesn't know it yet. He and his minions should have never pissed Musk off. Musk just drove a huge financial nail in Labour's coffin.

Macron is living on the edge held in power by a coalition that actually hate each other.

Germany effectively has no government right now.

Who's next? Panama? Venezuela?

In all of those cases, except perhaps Venezuela, the situation is more likely to strengthen the left than the right. In Canada, the New Democrats rather than the Conservatives, and so on.
 
Of more than passing interest is the massing of Taliban forces on Pakistan's Western border, the 'tribal areas.' Pakistan is already a 'failed' state, barely hanging on by a thread. But Pakistan is a nuclear power and that makes them a LOT of peoples business. The primary 'interested parties' are India and China. The Western world is going to back India.

C19 was a last hurrah for socialist
/progressive “we’re all in this together”.

Now the move to the right continues apace.

Every progressive western democracy will move to the right, toss out the Snowflakers, balance the books, stop paying deviant men to wear skirts, etc.

And refugees will have to go home and do the work if they want the good life we have.

Some of the framework of how Trump plans on dealing with Mexico and the Cartels is starting to fall into place.

Leverage will be used to achieve compliance from the Mexican government. Some kinetic action will probably occur in cooperation with the Mexican military. The longer term cooperation will look a lot like 'Plan Columbia' updated and massaged.
