Well, the covered with tats/crazy fast bike is still my type... Just minus the asshole attitude. lol It was such a bad breakup, that I'm really over it already.

And I have a date on Monday night! Exciting! A dear friend and classmate (who is also covered in tattoos and rides a pretty sweet bike) has asked me to dinner and a movie. He's a lovely fellow... So we shall see.

Oh, cool! My stepdad was a firefighter in South Florida, so you can imagine what he's seen. And when I go down there, I always see at least one dude on a bike wearing only a T-shirt, shorts and flip-flops, speeding down I-95. (Yikes.) I'll stop harping on the safety thing now. Very nice helmet!

I was waiting for someone to ask about my date!!

It was positively lovely... Really. He drove me out to Coco Beach... Windows down the whole way, and it was beautiful. Good music on the radio... Singing... Talking... Lovely.

We ate at this darling little restaurant... Casual and fun. And he refused to let me pay! I was shocked! lol We ate and then walked on the beach for what seemed like hours... Watched the sunset... Played in the surf... And then stayed around to star-gaze for a little while... And he kissed me... Oh my, what a lovely kiss.

So then he drove me home... And he opened his sunroof for me, so I could continue to look up at the stars on the way home... And I fell asleep holding his hand on the shifter. We got back to my place, and he woke me up with a kiss on the forehead... And put on a really cute song, and kissed me goodnight.

So it was fun... I had a really nice time. This guy and I have been pretty close for a few years now, so it's nice to see a different side of him. He's a great person, even if this only amounts to staying just friends.

Like, there's this kind of wave that bikers do when they pass eachother... They'll take their left arm and point out away from their bodies... And ex-boy wouldn't do it to anyone dressed like that. We always wore the right gear... Good shoes, jackets, helmets, gloves, jeans, etc.

I'd get that wave while driving my Miata sometimes. My coworkers both used to ride bikes and both were very good about the gear. So when i drive up Angeles Crest hwy for a morning drive (this is when the bikers are out) I always make room to share the lanes with them. The road is twisty and narrow. So when they wanna pass I move over really far when I see someone capleable and they ALWAYS wave that wave your talking about. They'll even watch out for you. one time a group was HAULING ass up the hill and as they started to pass they were all tapping on their helmets and waving to slow down ... I did and a few turns later there was a CHP (California Highway Patrol) officer with his radar gun out. Groups of jap bikers might seem pretty crazy... which some are... but they do look out for one another. Infact today my two coworkers were talkin about how to get through the toll road without paying.... I guess 115mph is the magic number
