Ask Ginny a Question....

Your internet courage is impressive.

Whatever spine I have, it's not scared of you. I have a feeling that posts on Lit is the most you will ever do to fight the evils of racism.

Me and my family have lived through - and done more to combat - racism than you could possibly comprehend. Your idea of the "internet warrior" being effete in real life is simply your way of making yourself feel better about not being able to demonstrate integrity in this thread. Have fun letting that reality sink in.

Being nothing but a little shiver yourself, I suspect you've been looking for a spine to run up most of your miserable life.

...says the guy hiding a gun behind his back in his AV.

Two old men, exposed in this thread. Not a pretty sight literally - or figuratively - at Literotica.

I like you, Rory, but I do happen to think your trigger finger is too quick sometimes. Matters of race are not channeled through an A/B switch. Sometimes it's bluster, sometimes it's cultural ignorance, sometimes it's the opportunity for a cheap shot that comes from the surface, not from within, and sometimes, to be sure, it's racism. It's not any more constructive to apply the one-drop-rule to racism as it is to race.

Well, for instance, I never said Bronzeage was a racist. I posed the question, however, due to his pansy-ass way of sidestepping the question as to whether or not he agreed with what Ginny said about black people. It's clearly up for debate. That being said, a large handful of regulars here are clique-driven hypocrites with no balls, and they usually whine when they're exposed. Racism or not, that's what's going on in this instance.

Other than that, my "racist" label gets applied to folks like BB, pellso27, and multiple alts of the same person. It's repeated demonstration, not rare instances of lack of judgement. The idea that I "think everyone is racist" is just propaganda built up for the last 6 years by one or two individuals with a bazillion screen names and no lives.

To be fair--and for sake of argument--Ginny's examples only ran one or two posts deep, no? That's only 'repeated' by the barest of technicalities, if at all. In whatever number of thousands of posts, to find two of questionable racial perspective, from someone in the South (outrage ensues! He didn't just say that!), isn't really that awful, is it?

Bronze has shown himself to be a pretty upstanding guy. Once you're at one poster removed from the poster from the south with two questionable posts out of many thousands, you're stretching pretty far, no?

I don't know who says what about you. I'm just saying--me--that I think your trigger finger can be a little quick on this stuff sometimes.

After reading those posts, do you feel there's any ambiguity whatsoever in terms of how she feels about black people? She effectively said "read my lips". Also, I'm not a believer in conditional racism. Where a person is from makes no difference to me. If it did, we could give allowances re: racism for any number of reasons.

Bronze has been upstanding before. In this thread, he blew it. *shrug*

It may not be relevant, but people post here under all manner of influences and levels of sobriety. It's not like at a bar or church function where you can expect everyone you talk to is at your level.

My father, when he was drunk one night, was expounding on the state of the world. He shocked me--deeply--by saying, "The only people worse than the Irish are the niggers."

I knew him my whole life, and I never heard another word or saw another action that suggested that he actually felt anything of the sort toward Irish people or black people or almost anyone else. I finally decided it was drunken bluster--fantasy-fulfillment of a sort. I sliced it off of my understanding of him.

That slicing was healthy.

Rory, Fuck you. I do not live to your standards.

If your feelings were hurt because I didn't jump in line behind your personal attack on someone, you'll have to live with it.

We do allow racism, for any number of reasons. The first and greatest reason is that people are not perfect. They come with the flaws and qualities. A person is not a cafeteria. You take to whole plate or you do without. If you truly do not allow conditional racism or conditional flaws of any kind, it's no wonder you have so much trouble understanding your own problems.

This.

My father was a proud George Wallace voter. 'N****r' still crosses my mother's lips several times a day. I don't like that aspect of them. But I loved him, and I love her anyway.

If you want to use a black-or-white issue (pun intended) as a bludgeon and a judgment, go ahead. But most of us who live in a complex world of fallible people who nevertheless, despite their flaws, make make our lives richer.

Just as I hope that I do for my friends, despite my flaws.

Before George Wallace died, he publicly repented of all his segregationist and racists beliefs and attitude. This was because of the personal relationships he formed when he became physically dependent on other people for his everyday needs.

A lifetime of being labeled a racist in public did not seem to have any effect on him.

My old man used "nigger", "spic", etc. all the time. He is dead. I am glad.

Why do you hide hypocrite? If you practiced what you preached you would not be hiding behind your RoryN alias.

If you're so black & proud and so "racially pure" why not reveal the real YOU and your REAL NAME?

Coward.

Actually, one post earlier you claim to have "exposed" Bronzeage. If nothing else, you are at least implying he is a racist because he didn't condemn someone you felt deserved condemnation. I've never seen him post anything that is racist. Have you? Ever?

As far as having no life, what does it say about you that your two claims to fame here are as an alt-hunter and a witch hunt starter on a porn board? You use a really broad brush in identifying racists here and then try and use group-think to ostracize them and anyone who still posts with them.

Guess what, you're entitled to your opinions and choices the same as everyone else. But your need for attention and the need to gather a mob for a public lynching speak more to your own inadequacies than to the character of those you preach against.

We do allow racism, for any number of reasons.

Why do people use this collective "we" with these types of responses? Is it just to be condescending, or do you really need fabricated collective agreement in an attempt to make your point?

I choose the people I keep company with. Part of my personal criteria is that they not be overtly racist assholes. You're right; that criteria isn't everyone's cup of tea. But I like to complain about other people's shitty taste in tea. Sue me.

I "exposed" him for being spineless. And did it with little effort of my own - he took care of almost everything this time around.

You use a really broad brush in identifying racists here and then try and use group-think to ostracize them and anyone who still posts with them.

It's not broad - you just don't like the criteria `cause you're a chickenshit. (Still.)

As far as having no life, what does it say about you that your two claims to fame here are as an alt-hunter and a witch hunt starter on a porn board?

What does it say about you that you let alt opinion determine my "claim to fame"?

Actually, I know exactly what it says about you:

Rory, you are a sad case. Cheer up.

When you drink other people's tea, you can complain about the taste. You won't change their preference or improve the tea, so your efforts are self serving. You accomplish nothing and help no one but yourself. You speak of worth and value in you posts, but lack the balls to say the value and worth is only in your self estimation.

As for spineless, how about this. You are an internet bully. I am not impressed or frightened. You try to gather a crowd on the internet to attack a person and then try to gather another to attack those who dare to refuse to join your crowd.

You did, and still are implying he's racist for not denouncing her. It seems that you need the support of a group witch hunt to stand by your convictions while others here don't feel that same need. That says more about you than it does about them.

LOL, I'm chickenshit? Please explain that one. I'm just dying to hear it. :D

So you're comparing me to LT? Actually, your need for a witchhunt is exactly his style. You might want to think a bit more before you post nonsense. Just sayin'

well, rory....

in this thread
you've managed to tag me a racist...

or (in my estimation) even worse....
as a
fellow traveler...

i will cry and shit, now.

certainly you can suggest a colonic parlor...

for the purge.

oh, that's right...

you're a douche!

sweetness............

in case you haven't noticed, you belong to the god damn caucasian race. everyone one of your pixs you have posted has blatant obvious traits of you being white. ppl would be willing to believe i'm part black way more than you, just look at my av. i don't get it when you say you have lived through racism...honestly i don't. are a self-hating white boi? why don't you come out and say your white trash father was a dead beat drunk that went on racist tantrums each time he found out his white child was listening to black music? you're a douche that would out anybody as a racist if he/she doesn't believe in your political uber left pinko agendas. i find ladyfunk and LT to more racist than ginny.
