Astros v Yankees

i fell asleep on the couch both nights. not the astros fault. it was the hot tub, before the game. wiped me out. still. watching the game with family is the absolute best.

As a huge Astros fan, I'm surprised we are up 2-1 and still haven't really been hitting well. Gerrit Cole is a damn monster.

I still think it is going to be a dogfight all the way to the end of game 7. Too much talent on both sides to crumble easily. Of course, living in Houston, I am rooting for the Astros :)

Astros are one win away!

I honestly expected this to go 7 games and for the home teams to dominate, so I'm surprised with how the series is turning out. I expected game 3 because Gerrit Cole is insane, but I was pretty much expecting to lose last night.

here we go again. hold onto your beers. it’s going to be a good one.

Holy shit that was a game. Both teams garbage human, wife beating closers got bombed.

as a kid we would go watch the astros play in the astrodome. the stadium was almost always nearly empty. we could go down to the very front row and cheer them on. tickets were super cheap. we would load up on hotdogs, peanuts and crackerjacks. it didn't matter if they lost, they almost always did, they were our team. it's so cool to see them turn into the team they have become.

I like the Astros, like the way they were built on young talent, but added some vets. Big Verlander fan because he's one of the last old horses that can pitch more than a few innings or whatever goes for a quality start in this watered down league.

Being a Sox fan I of course hate the Yankees, but will congratulate them on a great season and the fact they did what the Red Sox didn't, Yanks decided to show up and play this year not half ass it.

Astros in 6. Altho be nice to see the Nationals win.

Yankees losing is glorious any time of year.

This is one of those rare cases where I'm fine with either team winning.

But I may lean Nationals because they haven't won a WS yet and it would be awesome to see them win a year after perennial tool bag Harper left.
