I get a smile on my face every time I see kiwiwolf's AV. :D

Encountered unexpectedly, it often causes an audible "Snort!" :rolleyes:

I am another one who prefers MG's "Cheeky" AV. :confused:

I always enjoy rhinoguy's AVs when it shows his own work. :)

And judged strictly for impact, one of Blacksnake's is flagrant. :eek:

And..well...many more. But I don't really look at AVs. I'm a bigger fan of what you guys and gals write.

Oh dear it's all come out;) I knew it was a mistake to post that av, I forgot that was about the time I was globe trotting with a girl in every port.

The most scary thing is, that pic was actually taken 27 yrs ago when I was 28. Pretty close Ice man:D

I just thought of something even more weird ice, where I purchased that leather I'm wearing about 2 yrs previous, gulp!

Pops last time I visited my dad I swiped that exact same jacket. Except his is a wonderful 70's burnt orange shade. Back then, he was as skinny as I am so it fits me perfectly.

He bought his in San Francisco in 1975.

I get quite a few compliments on my "retro" jacket.

But the 'stache ... I'll have to work on that.
 
Still catching up on this past week's posts. I feel plainly good for all the mentions my AVs have received, thank you. My comments on others:

Without much recall my very two faves are Maths' Cheeky and Svenska's real self. However I have assorted warm fuzzies for Ogg's Cake and his young lad self, Gauche as Gollum and as Alan Rickman, Pops' pirate, Ice's fucking cake and his AV poems, Raff's original boots, Rumps' viejito, Loulou's eyes, and Vas/SWP's artwork and real self.

I brought the jacket in Stavanger Old Town market, (Norway), in about 1974 while visiting a Norwegian friend, umm female friend, wink!

I've still got the jacket, and I've still got the s'tache:) But most of the head hair's buggered off somewhere:D

Right. That might ease his mind, but not mine. My big sis was...ahem...made in Stavanger in -74 by a visiting sailor. He was Dutch though.

Realised I haven't had the AV's on in ages! Hm, I see some changes. :) When someone has kept their AV for a very long time I used to connect them to that AV. If someone else used the same AV I got awfully confused! Now I keep them off, but check now and then.
