anything else you guys need to know?

Start

First day back, god this blows I think to myself as I get out of my car and head for the school building. I walk into the main entrance of the building and begin to walk towards the Senior hallway.

Chad Thompson

Name: Chad Thompson
Age: 19, Senior (again)
Hair and Eye color: Dark brown, blue eyes
Race: White
Interests: Trying to graduate, rodeo, fighting, girls.

Chad is a senior for the second time, determined to get out of school in one piece. His background is rough and he lives out in the country on the family farm, but he's trying to make things right and be the first member of his family to go to college. He has never been in a steady relationship but has eyes for some of the girls on campus and would love a chance to meet one.

Name: Alex Carson
Age: 19-Senior-Started school a little late
Hair Color: Blonde with pink highlights, black underneath.
Eye color: Bright blue
Race: White
Interests: Singing, bands, horses, four-wheeling, the outdoors, living life.

Life wasn't easy. If she made it, she'd be the first in her family to attend college, non the less graduate high school. Her dad was 22 years older than her mother and was too old to work, her mom lived off of her dad's check, needless to say, she was far from the spoiled little princess' that attended her school. She had a job, bought everything she needed with her own money. She got her car, from a crackhead who took half price and needed the money bad enough. Her neon green mustang was her most prized possession.

She was already different enough with her hair, lip piercing, her attitude, and the fact that she wasn't rich threw people off. She only went to this school, because her aunt felt sorry for her and paid her fees to go here. She was often looked down upon because of her age, making people think that she had failed a grade. She didn't care though, she just wanted to graduate and get on with her life. High school was entirely overrated.

IC:

It was early in the morning, not too many kids here yet, which is why she showed up early. The less she was in the hall with some of the stuck up bitches here at this school, the better. She shut her locker and turned to leave, without looking where she was going. She ran into somebody and fell down, her books and the guy's things scattering everywhere.

"I'm so sorry." She said immediately, hoping she didn't piss the guy off too much, she'd been pushed and shoved before by some of the jock's who thought she was a nobody, because she never did anything. She looked up and saw a guy, his name was Chris? No. Charles? No, that's not it either. Chad. Yeah, his name was Chad.

Slowly standing up, Alex picked her things up as well as his as she handed them to him with a gentle smile.

"Guess I should look where I'm going before I go next time." She said softly tugging at the hem of her black tank top to cover her stomach that had risen up, her dark skinny jeans tight and clinging to her legs.

"You're Chad, right?" She asked softly.

I turned into the hallway just in time to see Chad walk into Ashley. I run over and help Chad pick up Her books.

Chad knelt down to pick up his things, forgetting to notice who had run into him until she spoke. And then he forgot everything else. This girl...he had seen her before but never like this. Alex something...

Be cool. Be cool. Breathe.

"hey. Yeah, it's no problem. You're Alex?"

Alex looked up at him as he actually noticed her, actually replied to her. Most guys would just say some stupid remark about watching where she was going, and walk away. She smiled softly as she moved her hair out of her eyes and nodded her head.

"Yeah, Alex Carson." She replied softly. "I only know of you, because you're about the only other person I know, well know of that's nineteen here, besides me." She says with a gentle smile. "I really am sorry for bumping into you though."

"no, no, don't apologize Alex, its fine. I'd love to bump with you anytime..."
His voice trailed off as he realized what he had said. Damn her eyes positively glowed, made him feel funny inside.

Carter, noticing the two hitting it off, avoided it and let them talk and continued walking down the hallway. He looked at Alex and thought isn't she the chick with the neon green mustang? yeah, thats a nice car.

Alex could feel her cheeks growing hot as she registered his words. Had he really just said that to her? She was shy, nervous, unbelieving it at first, but also elated that he had. She tucked her hair out of her eyes as she looked away from him, turning her back to him as she grabbed a binder out of her locker before shutting it and turning back to him.

"So what's your schedule this year?" She asked softly, changing the subject as she handed him her own schedule. She had study hall first period, piano lab second period, photography third period, math fourth, English 5th period, Government 6th, and choir 7th period.

He scanned her schedule quickly, mentally comparing it to his own...
"Let's see I've got study hall first period too, economics second, math third, sociology fourth, English 5th period, Government 6th, and gym 7th period."

3 classes together with this stunning beauty? Maybe Chad's luck was turning around. "hey, so...what are you doing until study hall starts?" he eyed her hopefully.

Alex looked at his schedule, reading it as he listed the classes off aloud. She smiled as she realized they had three classes together. She took her schedule back as she looked up at him, shrugging at his question. She really hadn't thought about it. They still had thirty minutes at most until their first class started.

"Hadn't really thought about it, actually. How about yourself?" She asked curiously.

Chad looked at Alex, looked around the hallway, and decided to go for it. Hell, you were only a senior once (twice in their cases). "Well, they don't take roll in study hall do they? I was thinking about grabbing breakfast after I got done putting my books in my locker. Care to join me?"

He held out his hand in what his mind thought of as a gallant, gentlemanly gesture.

Alex folded her schedule back up, slipping it into the back pocket of her tight jeans as she saw him looking around the mostly deserted hallway. She pulled her phone out, checking the time before she heard his question, a smile appearing on her face as she heard what he was asking. In honest truth, she had thought about skipping out on first period anyhow, just didn't know what to do otherwise.

"Sure." She said excitedly before taking his hand. "Do you have a car, or shall we take mine?" She asked him, walking with him down the hall.

He quickly fell in step beside her, feeling important and mature holding this girl he barely knew's hand. He looked down and noticed that whatever kind of shoes she was wearing, they were nothing like his cowboy boots.

"Here's the thing- I drove my pickup this morning so I'd be happy to drive, but its really up to you. I'll let the lady decide." Where the heck had he learned to be this dashing? And with a hard-on at half mast too? Chad mentally congratulated himself and then winked at her in a cheesy but also kind of serious way.

Alex looked over at him as her eyes took in his appearance, his whole look clearly screaming "cowboy", but she liked country men. For some reason, they always seemed to be a turn on for her. She smiled at his cowboy boots as her own feet then looked down at her black and white converse.

"Oh, your pickup? That's be fine, if you want to drive. I don't really mind. If you want to take your truck, being up high for once would be a nice change." She said sincerely.

A small giggle left her lips as he winked at her, her hand tightening on his as she walked down the stairs, out the back door, and to the student parking lot. She looked up at him before letting him lead the way, to his truck. Once there she waited until he unlocked the door before climbing inside, being quite the climb for her small body, a laugh leaving her lips as she sat in the passenger side seat.

"I'm already liking this day." She told him with a grin.

Chad nodded in agreement. His pickup roared to life and he maneuvered out of the paring lot, trying his best not to grin frm ear to ear. With Alex in his front seat it was clear that his truck had never been so well decorated or smelled so nice. He casually rested his right arm across the seat and asked "Where can I take you this morning ma'am?"

He almost wrecked into a school bus when she caught his eye with hers. Those things were a lethal weapon, and they seemed to read his dirtiest secrets...

Alex couldn't help but to laugh softly from the expression on his face, the ear-splitting smile that stretched across his face, his eyes roaming from the road to her own eyes a few times as she yelled softly as he quickly pulled the truck in time from hitting a school bus. She looked at him with wide eyes as she laughed.

"Maybe I was wrong about you driving." She teased. "And anywhere is fine by me, sir." She teased once more. "You decide."

He concentrated on driving and not the girl with the lilting laugh next to him. "I guess it depends on how hungry you are? We could definitely just drive out to my farm to see if there's breakfast there, but maybe your place is closer? And you know you'll be able to eat that food, as opposed to just grits and sausage at my place."

Alex shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly as she played with a hole in her jeans' knee. She pulled on a thread of fabric before looking over at him.

"Like I told you, I don't really mind. Either way is fine by me. I don't really care." Her eyes widened with curiosity and hopefulness as she realized something. "Your farm? Would you happen to have horses there?" She asked with curiosity and hope in her voice.

She looked out the window, not wanting to seem to eager, not wanting to get her hopes up, but she couldn't help herself.

Chad wasn't an idiot, despite was his academic record might say.

"Horses? Of course we've got horses. I've even got me of my own, Apollo, if you'd like to take a little ride..." he trailed off trying to sound casual...could this hot piece of emo ass really be into horses?

Alex turned in her seat, a big smile on her face as he agreed to having horses, acting as if it were nothing. When he told her that he even had his own, she felt her heart throbbing. It had been a few years since she'd even been around a horse. When one of her mother's boyfriends had beaten her and tried to rape her, she had been adopted by her rich aunt, who had happened to own a stable.

She had gotten her own horse, as of a way to return her to normal, a coping method of sorts. Her name had been Airabella. She had loved that horse, spent every waking moment with her. When she had been forced to move with her dad, back into the city, Airabella had grieved herself to death, no more horses since then.

Alex ran a hand through her hair and then smiled wide at his question. "Yeah, I'd love to." She said excitedly. "I used to love horses." She said quietly, more to herself than anything.
