Criminal History:

• She'd been a law abiding citizen until she committed the crimes that got her put away.
• She spent about half a year planning her crimes (aka surveilling the game).
• She spent about half a year executing those plans (aka infiltrating the game).
• The day she killed her targets, she was arrested. Charlie was not trying to hide or evade.
• She was convicted and sentences just 6 months after being charged.
• And two months after that, she was on death row.
• She'd been in Clark County Correctional for 8 years by the time of her takeover.

Scars: knife wound on her right waist ("When I attacked and killed my brother's murderers, I missed one of them ... sort of walked right into his reach in the smoke of the fire. Six inch knife, to the hilt") and upper right back and the back of that side's arm, where an ugly scar ran across both. ("Fell off a horse riding with my brothers. Fell into some old timber.")​

Personality Description:

She is intelligent, quick witted, and ingenious. She thinks ahead, planning for all conceivable contingencies. (See below under "And then there was the Red Flu" for two murders she committed with forethought.)

Ironically, she sometimes acts on impulse (as was seen here when twice she publicly executed unarmed men for threatening her control over CCC).

Sexually, Charlie is primarily into men but occasionally enjoys the pleasures of a woman, too. She very much likes sex and typically enjoys it to its fullest. She prefers lasting relationships, plural: prior to prison, she typically had two or three long term lovers at one time, with one of them often being a woman. She isn't beyond a one off if the opportunity arises, though, as have been her few clandestine encounters with Prison Staff (2 females, 1 male).

She can be very benevolent to those who are loyal to her and/or are vulnerable.

She is a vengeful bitch! That was how she ended up on death row (as explained further below).​

Before the Red Flu Pandemic:

She was the middle child of a happy, well-to-do, suburban family. She grew up happy and protected, a bit of a tom boy.

Just after she turned 22 years old, her older brother, Richard, died of a drug overdose. Her younger brother, Craig, was scheduled to testify against his brother's heroine dealer. He was murdered by the dealer's gang, and with no witness and lacking other evidence, the dealer got off.

Hiding her identity, Charlie befriended and then began dating one of the gang members. She managed invites to the gang's parties, got close to its leaders, and staged a bombing and subsequent gunfire ambush of the gang's safehouse. She killed 6 top tier gangbangers and 3 others, as well as injuring another 24 people.

Not even trying to hide her involvement, Charlie was caught, tried, and -- because she openly said she would continue to kill gang members -- was sentenced to execution for First Degree Murder.

The trial was quick, at Charlie's insistence. By age 24, she was on Death Row at Clark County Correctional. With gang members in the prison population, she was restricted to solitary isolation. She had forbade her parents from visiting her; she had refused any appeals to her sentence. She was alone.​

And then there was the Red Flu:

Charlie was next in line to have a needle stuck in her arm when the Red Flu put a halt to executions. By this time, she had befriended several of the Corrections Officers and other Staff, many of whom had begged her to appeal her execution on the grounds that she'd killed drug dealers.

She began to notice the laxed security caused by a shortness in Corrections Officers. A few days before the start of our Story, she faked illness to be taken to the Infirmary, where she easily overwhelmed her guard and the Doctor (who is no longer at the prison).

As hostages, she had those two, a nurse, and two ill members of the gang that had been trying to get to her for years. She stuck one of the gang bangers with a massive dose of Morphine and sent him out to the COs locking down the Infirmary with a note. As they were reading that Charlie wanted to see whoever was in charge -- it was the most Senior Corrections Officer after the flight of the Warden and death by virus of the Assistant Warden -- the gangbanger died before their eyes.

When the Staff hesitated, she sent the second gangbanger out. He died before their eyes, too, and behind him Charlie informed the negotiators, "I'm out of gang bangers. I guess I have to start killing staff instead."

She sent out the CO, who fell to the floor. He wasn't dead, though, the Staff didn't know that because he didn't make it through the doorway separating the two parties. The Senior CO was send in to negotiate, and less than 2 hours later, the prison was controlled by Charlie.

Having promised the rest of her hostages that they would make it out safe and sound, they actually helped her in securing the prison for herself. Ultimately, the guard departed but the Nurse remained behind, along with 3 other staff members, one of which turned on Charlie and was subsequently killed by her.​

Her direction:

She has every intention of turning Clark County Correctional into a peaceful and productive home for the inmates and remaining staff, and she will do anything she has to -- including murder -- to see it happen.

Ironically, she never imagined that the place would become a barter town of sorts, catering to the wants, needs, and desires of civilian plague survivors. It will be a big surprise to her when this happens.​

(actual nurse, not former convict)

Physical Appearance:

26 years old.
5'7", 120#, 34B-26-35; not skinny, not fat; cute with curves.

Personality Description:

She is intelligent and thoughtful. She doesn't act impulsively, and always considers the consequences of her actions.

Heterosexual. She was both married and divorced young (18 and 21 respectively.) IMPORTANT EDIT -- Although she began a few non-sexual relationships since she split with her now-Ex-husband, she hasn't had sex in 5 years. (This will change once Doc puts his cock in her ... soon if she has her way about it.)

She is kind to others, a facet of her career.​

Before the Red Flu Pandemic:

Betty was the 1st of 4 children from a low income inner city home. Despite life being hard and the family often being destitute, she grew up happy and protected.

She married her high school boyfriend, Ronny, right after graduation, and the pair of them lived in a trailer house out behind her widowed mother's home. He worked at an auto repair shop while she went to nursing school and worked at a diner.

They were always broke and stressed, but the love and lust that existed between them kept them sane.

Then, when she was almost 21, she caught her husband in bed with a 16 year old neighbor girl. She soon learned that he had also forced himself upon both of her younger sisters. (They didn't speak up for fear of breaking up her marriage.) He was, of course, out!

Desperate for a good paying job to help her family, Betty took the prison job. She often finds herself in fear of being attacked and/or raped, but there is always a guard or two protecting her.

Added 8/11/2021 -- Betty had always hated the sight of blood, which had often led to people asking her why the fuck she'd become a nurse, particularly a prison nurse where stabbings and beat downs like she was seeing tonight were commonplace. Truth was, she'd gone into nursing solely because she'd been offered a scholarship by the State as part of a new Health Care Initiative, and she'd ended up at the prison because it had been the best paying gig available at the time.

And then there was the Red Flu:

Unfortunately, Betty's family was one of the first to be taken down by the pandemic. She was on a 3 day shift at CCC when she found out that her family members had been exposed. She was involuntarily quarantined at the prison for another few days, during which her entire family died.

She found out she was immune to the Red Flu when an infected inmate brought to the infirmary attacked her and broke her safety protocols. They put her in isolation while they tested her blood. They discovered the antibodies that can only be activated by exposure and declared her immune.​

Her direction:

She is dedicated to the health and well being of the prison's inhabitants, whether former inmate or staff. She will work professionally to care for them all.

She will unexpectedly fall in love with an incarcerated Doctor (already proposed by a writer but yet to be established in the IC or OOC).

She will also want to become involved in trying to find a cure for the Red Flu, building on work already done and posted to the internet by other Doctors and Medical Facilities.​

Electrical Power:

• Public Power Grid: functional; providing 50%.
• Prison Solar Panels: functional; providing 50%.
• Emergency Generators: functional
  • There are 2: 1 diesel and 1 gasoline.
  • Either is capable of providing more than enough power on its own.
  • However, fuel is limited:
    • Diesel (from a buried tank): 100 hours at full load.
    • Gasoline (from a buried tank (80%) and a parked trailer (20%)): 480 hours.
    • Note: diesel and gasoline must be shared with vehicles; and both fuels degrade over time (diesel 6-12 months; gasoline 3-6 months).
• Currently, there are two people with mechanical experience to work on the electrical/generator system, but in the event of a catastrophe, there is no one fully trained on how to repair the systems.

Propane:

• Kitchen appliances: stove tops, ovens, fridge, freezers, etc..
• Block and outbuilding heat
• 1000 gallon tank: contains 500 gallons.
• Note -- Propane can be stored forever, and many of the prison's systems could be switched to propane. Worth considering in the case of a catastrophe.

Water:

• Public System: functional/pressurized; providing 100%
• Prison wells (backup): functional:
  • The wells are not filtered or chlorinated, and have only ever been used for farm irrigation.
  • They are capable of providing 100% of the human need (with a slight chance of biological hazard without chlorination).
  • They are capable of providing 60% of the farm's need, with 40% from the public source or trucks.

Sewer Systems:

• These are, of course, reliant upon water pressure.

A Note for all of my prospective fellow writers:

First, thanks so much for your interest. I'm so excited for this.

Second, I was asked whether this was a Sexual Roleplay, because I put it in the Online Role Play thread. There will, of course, be sexual situations and interactions. But I want this to be much more story than sex. I once read here on Lit a great line:

Erotica is a lot of story with a little sex, whereas porn is a lot of sex with a little story.​

I want this to be erotica.

And third, I was asked whether ALL of the characters would be putting ALL of their replies in the IC thread. I have NO problem whatsoever with some 1x1 interactions being conducted in a separate 1x1 thread which can then be linked to the prison story's IC thread in the proper time line. It actually sort of makes sense, and it makes writing and reading easier, particularly for sex, conversation, or violence scenes. So, for example:

1. Bob and Alice are going to have sex, which might last 12 posts total.
2. Their writers won't be able to complete the scene for a week.
3. That means that while the IC thread is moving ahead a day or two or more, their sex scene activities -- which happen over an hour, more or less -- are spread out over all of those other posts.
4. However, Bob and Alice could sneak off from the main thread to their own thread, leaving a link to that thread behind.
5. Their writers could start and end that thread at their leisure.
6. Another advantage of this is that Bob and Alice could continue to move ahead with their lives in the IC thread, even though their sex scene isn't completed. (I'm sure their writers can manage that, right?)

Another advantage to this is that the sex thread could be posted in the SRP rather than the ORP. It would be more appropriate there, and other readers would be more likely to see it there and read it. We all like to know people are reading what we're reading, right? (I love a pat on the backside as much as the next girl, particularly if something else nice is happening to me at my backside. )

Crime(s): Possession of a Schedule 1 narcotic with intent to sell, distribution and cross-state trafficking of a Schedule 1 narcotic, extortion, aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, R.I.C.O. and violating parole.

Attitude: Loud and abrasive—Mack is almost never at a loss for words. If he ever goes quiet, guaranteed its because he’s listening. Mack often plays the fool but understands the tactical advantage of disguising his strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes, churning waters run deep too.

Cell Library: The Art of War, Moby Dick, The Sonnets of Shakespeare, Meditations by Marcus Aurelius and The Prince by Machiavelli.

Bio: Mack learned from an early age that life was all about managing expectations. His dope fiend parents wanted drugs—so he dropped out of elementary school in favor of the streets. He studied the streets like a school subject, figuring out what people needed at every level and figuring out how to give it to them. If he couldn’t, he’d promise anyway. Power brought money, money brought drugs and the drugs could buy his parents’ love.

Mack never learned to be a leader, nor did he aspire to leadership. Leaders were a dime a dozen and they were always bumping each other off. Loyal recruits were much rarer, but disloyal recruits were more valuable. Not that it mattered much, since Mack had a special talent for positioning himself on the winning side of any conflict.

So it was when the guards left. The new “Warden” said they were all free, but freedom wasn’t something Mack wanted. He wanted to belong, to be accepted. It just so happened that the new regime needed a mouthpiece—a propaganda machine—a role that he was perfectly comfortable with. The fringe benefits of this new order seemed too promising to pass up.

Gender:Male
Age:27
Height:6'1 feet tall
Looks:Light grey eyes, a ruff, unshaven face, and a few badly healed scars on his face. He walks with a slight limp but he hides it well. Other then that he looks to be in great shape.
Crimes: Several instances of petty theft, breaking and entering, severally harmed a police officer while involved in a prison riot.

Backstory:Though Jules looks like he could stand toe to toe with anyone, this is really just a pure fabrication. He has no idea how to do a proper punch or hold himself in a fight. His real skill is his mouth. Jules was always a con man.

Growing up on the street with his sister he learned quick how to make money here and there. His sister(Alex) and him never knew who their parents were and at this point Jules is well past caring. He was caught for his crimes while trying to rob a very old, seemingly helpless lady who actually slept with a gun under her bed. Alex was shot dead in the burglary when she caught them and Jules was arrested.

He stayed on good behavior wanting to get out of the prison system quickly, but a prison riot broke out, an officer used some extreme force to bring things under control, and when the officer told Jules to kneel down and put his arms up, something just came over him and he took a shiv and slashed the police officer. Maybe the advent just reminded Jules of what happened with his sister, it's hard to say. But after that it was safe to say Jules would be spending most of the rest of his life behind bars.

As such he gave up on good behavior and started running small time con jobs from within prison walls.

When the Red Flu hit the wall things became that much easier to get around the eyes of the law. Jules had over a short time managed to obtain a rather large amount of drugs from the medical area and has been now selling it as narcotics. But with Charlie taking over the prison he will have to stop this profession, or better yet start hiding it well.

Personality: Very skilled talker, only cares about himself and his own interested. Very smart. Plans several steps ahead and thinks quickly on his feet. Sees himself as better then everyone else.

Sexuality: He is cupiosexual(which is a micro label for a specific kind of asexuality). Basically it translates to someone that experiences sexual desire and enjoys sex, but does not find their partners sexually attractive. Do to it being a far lesser known kind of queerness Jules is unaware of what he is, but is aware that he's not very interested in any gender, despite rather enjoying the act of sex. All he knows is he's queer, and being a man that is well dedicated to manipulating others and always getting what he wants, if this were to come out it maybe bad for his business. As such he hides this part of himself and will not shy away from bedding someone just to keep his 'straight' appearance.

Character ark: Jules is a selfish character fully out to support himself only and manipulate everyone he can to better himself. My hope is he constantly lies and there is always a chance he could be caught in his own web, always living in a sense at the edge of a knife. At some point I feel someone should become suspicious of him, either in his small crimes that he runs behind bars, or in how he's queer and not to interested in anyone, and he would start a sexual relationship with them to keep his cover as it were. As the character progresses he should at some point realize the wrong of his ways and possibly open up to this character. My hope is by the end he could fully redeem himself in some way.

Lou Edwards made his small fortune in the free world as a buyer and logistics manager for a large aerospace company. There was nothing that he couldn't work his way into finding and procuring. The high up executives had him buying them personal items, for which he garnered a pretty penny.

This small fortune secured him Ellen, his unfaithful trophy wife. She was q=at least 3 grades out of his league and made sure he was well aware of that fact.

Personality: Shy and introverted. Very task oriented but not much of a conversationalist. Never looking to cause conflict and does his very best to avoid trouble.

Sexuality: Heterosexual, but his mousy tendencies make him seem he might not be.

It was very late last night that I began them, and I was still tired this morning as I finished them, so there is the possibility that they are fucked up.

Race: Mixed - appears Hispanic but has a curious accent. No one’s been able to place it and he doesn’t offer any insights.
Crimes: Felony distribution and possession with intent to distribute of Schedule II controlled substances
Sentence: 6 years, of which 4 have been served
Personality/character: A man of few words, who keeps to himself. He did not belong to any of the existing gangs in the CCC. It’s widely known that, for the past year, MacFarlane was the sex slave to his cell-mate, ‘Kong’ Simmonds, a terrifying lifer doing time for multiple felony murders. Kong had made it clear that MacFarlane was off-limits.
Background: not known to the prison fraternity and may become clear as story progresses
CCC Role: MacFarlane’s been a model prisoner. Of late, he’s been informally assigned to help out in the Infirmary. As the Red Flu took hold and the visits from the prison physician became more erratic, MacFarlane has been working with Nurse Betty and the other infirmary orderly, Juan Diego, to see to the needs of the prisoners and, on occasion, the staff. Just before Charlie takes control, MacFarlane had been assigned to help out with judicial executions, taking on the role of setting up the lethal injection apparatus, equipment he’s well familiar with from his professional work. The Red Flu and Charlie's actions put paid to his involvement in an actual execution.

Before the Red Flu Pandemic:

Maria's family was wealthy and well connected on the Washington D.C. landscape: her grandfather was a Congressman, then a Senator, which aided his son in becoming a well known Congressional Lobbyist; her mother was a Beauty Queen who became an Broadway actress and Grammy Award-winning singer.

Maria was a beautiful woman with an incredible body, and even before she was of legal age, male associates of her family were already making advances toward her.

On her 18th birthday, she lost her virginity to a U.S. Senator. He walked away from the encounter with a great story for his buddies at the Congressional Gym: she walked away with a stack of $100 bills.

Maria found a Manager who could connect her with all the right people, and within a few years she'd become one of the most sought after escorts in all of D.C.

When her nearly 70 year old Manager decided to leave the business, the woman turned her Black Book over to Maria, who was only 26 at the time. Maria expanded the business slowly and carefully, and by the time she reach 38, she was running 60 girls out of Washington, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

Then came disaster. The unconnected death of a foreign dignitary who'd been known to associate with prostitutes/escorts led to a years-long investigation into high end prostitution. Maria was arrested and -- due to the in-depth nature of the investigation -- faced more than 1,000 charges from prostitution to conspiracy to money laundering.

She used her connections with top level people in the Justice System get out of jail on a $10 million bond. She attempted to further use her connections to get herself out of the charges. But her friends -- most of whom feared losing their offices or high paying lobbying and corporate gigs -- ran as fast as they could in the other direction, particularly when the Prosecutor began covertly dropping names from Maria's client list.

Facing life in prison and the loss of most of her fortune, Maria agreed to name names -- more names, names yet unknown -- to the U.S. Attorney General.

Suddenly, Maria found herself arrested again and tossed into solitary confinement at Clark County Correctional. She learned that she was facing charges in the murders of 3 of her escorts, women who themselves had agreed to speak with the Special Prosecutor. Maria was, of course, entirely innocent of these charges, yet after almost 4 years, she was still sitting in jail with very limited communications with the outside other than a string of lawyers who -- one after another -- quit representing her at key moments for various reasons.

While in lockup, she befriended Charlie, who was in the cell directly across from her.​

And then there was the Red Flu:

Sorry to bow out so soon, I just had a bunch of projects reemerge and I'm getting really close to leaving for Italy on a Writer's retreat for which I have some rather girthy scripts to read as well as another script for a film I'm acting in... • Her property crimes included Theft, Larceny, Burglary, and Robbery. The differences between these, in case you care are:
  • Theft or larceny (typically theft with a higher dollar value) involves taking property without the use of force or breaking into a structure.
  • Robbery involves force or the threat of force.
  • Burglary involves breaking into a structure.
• She was also charged with prostitution a dozen times, though, she was actually arrested for it more than 50 times.
• Marla spent a total of 6 years in Juvenile detention for her property crimes.
• She spent a total of 16 months in jail for her sex related crimes.
• She was charged for Manslaughter and sent to CCC 3 years before the RP's start for stabbing and killing a John who got brutal with her.
• She was sentenced to 7 years.

She is intelligent, witty, and crafty.

She is loyal to the Codona Clan, the Roma (Gypsy) family from which she hails.

Sexually, Marla sees her body as a tool to get her and her Clan what they need. She is just as comfortable licking a clit as sucking a cock.

Her first thought is always of her Clan, then herself, and -- if it doesn't hurt the first two -- others for whom she has taken a liking.​

Before the Red Flu Pandemic:

With the exception of the times she spent in Juvenile Detention or Local Jails, Marla traveled with her always-moving Roma Clan from the time of her birth (in a motor home) to the time she was charged and jailed for Manslaughter.

She was raised to believe that the Clan was everything. Because of this, and because the Clan was always on the edge financially, she became a thief, pick pocket, con artist, and more as a child, and later in her mid-teens -- when her body filled out -- she became a stripper and prostitute.

She lose her virginity to a cousin and was on occasion, lover to other male relatives. This incest was not uncommon within the Clan and was more than just a sexual act, it was an act of loyalty and love.

She also discovered that women liked her and she liked women. In towns they visited, she often sought out female lovers, most of whom she either got payment or robbed.

Going to prison: On a visit to a town in Clark County, Marla stabbed a John who began beating her up after she'd demanded payment he was withholding. She sought leniency based on the assault, but the judge denied her.​

And then there was the Red Flu:

Marla was sentenced to 7 years for manslaughter and had been in CCC for 3 of them when the Red Flu arrived.​

Her direction:

She is going to be a Brothel whore.

Her biggest goal, however, is to find members of her Clan and be with them again.​

Second: A young man, barely 18, with younger people (including but not limited to) siblings in tow. He is an athlete, therefore fit with endurance. He would also be handy with a rifle, having grown up hunting. He would become infatuated with one of the whores and would take risks assigned to him by a reluctant Charlie to earn money to be with this prostitute. In the end, I can even see Charlie taking to him as her new male lover.

She is intelligent, well educated, sharp-witted.

She is honest and dedicated to justice, even if that means bending the rules of law to reach it.

Before the Red Flu Pandemic:

Margaret Harris was the Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting a high profile case. (For more on this, see her introduction reply to the IC thread here.

She pissed off the Judge, who ordered a mistrial and had Madge jailed for 28 days for contempt and misconduct. She was supposed to have been put in a Courthouse cell, but overcrowding resulted in her being shipped off to Clark County Correctional under the alias Jane Doe.

When the Red Flu struck, Madge was essentially forgotten.​

And then there was the Red Flu:

Madge had been in solitary confinement for 6 days when Charlie took over.

She remained in her cell -- fearful of being shivved -- for the first 4 days of Charlie's rule.​

Her direction:

Even though she thought there were no inmates who would know her, Madge will be identified by an inmate she personally put away.

They will be adversarial at first, but after she defends him for a crime he didn't commit (during the time of Charlie), they will fall in lust and in love.​

Personality Description:

She is intelligent, intuitive, ingenious; she's not overly book-educated, having been homeschooled by parents (and her Uncle Steven) who were outdoorsy types and gave her most of her education in the wild.

She is a virgin with an understanding and appreciation of sex but no -- no! -- experience in it save touching herself at times. She's never even seen two people make love, be it live or recorded. (See more about this under "Her Direction" below.)​

Before the Red Flu Pandemic:

Her parents homeschooled her as a girl, wanting her to learn in an environment where she didn't learn bad habits from other, less disciplined children.

She still had friends, though, and spent plenty of time with other children in outdoor and creative clubs, as well as in sports.

Her mother died from pancreatic cancer when Jessi was only 10 years old.

When COVID struck, she was pulled from most of her social activities. She and her father spent most of their time together; he continued her education, which now included a great deal of outdoors activities.

Jessi's mother's brother, Steve Douglas had always been a part of her life, now even more so. They spent many days a month together, she and Steven or she and both of the men.

The last time she saw Uncle Steven -- 6 years before the start of the RP -- she was a skinny and gawky 12 year old. He had taken her skydiving several times prior to his leaving for overseas duty.

NOTE: Something she had been told as a girl -- after seeing something she couldn't explain -- was that her mother and Steven, siblings of course, had been lovers and that sometimes, even her father would participate in intimate, sexual encounters with the two. This was more than just sex to the trio: it was deep love.​

And then there was the Red Flu:

Her father caught the virus and died from it 2 days before the start of the role play.

The next day, she called her Uncle Steven from her satellite phone, told him about it, and asked him to come to the cabin. (She had no intention of leaving the woods to go to the prison, but will/did anyway.)​

Her direction:

She is very skilled in hunting and foraging, which will likely lead to her becoming a hunter, gatherer, and perimeter scout around the prison, as well as possibly an urban forager as well.

Sexually ... well, I have a plan for her that precludes her from becoming sexually involved with any current male characters.​

Jamie Adams was 42, with the looks of a young Robert Redford, and the body of a man who not only took care of himself, but had professional help staying sculpted. He had a model family, literally a family that looked like models, he was a leader in his community chairing board seats on several charities, revered in the financial services industry as a pioneer in options based mutual fund management, and a CROOK. Not your normal, seedy, cheating, violent crook. No his crimes were of the highest white collar variety. For years he had been stealing his clients money without their ever knowing it. Hundreds of millions, this was no penny ante crook.

He was considered a financial genius. In theory, he could make money in a down or up market, because his skill was arbitrage, buying one security, while simultaneously selling another security, and taking advantage of the market inefficiencies between the prices of bonds, and the options on those same bonds, locking in a profit with a risk neutral position. This had been a wonderful idea years ago, when the markets had been inefficient. However, those days were gone. He would have said the old days were like going into a room with $1,000 bills floating in the air and pulling them down to put in your pockets as fast as you could. Today, would be described as going into that same room and having a single one dollar bill that you chased around for a half hour, and only sometimes caught.

Jamie had made hundreds of millions in the good days, he had started a fund and made significant money for others, but he had been slow to recognize the good times were over, and had basically lost it all. Foolishly he had thought he could win it back, and so he had lied, taken in money from new investors including friends (a classic ponzi scheme) and used that money to pay off old investors looking to cash out their accounts.

He had had it all, and then he had nothing! No more wife, kids who didn't talk to him. Of course the wife was dead now and the kids were, who the fuck knows? And it was because of her...God how he hated her, except, he didn't even know who she was. The woman who had broken his case had gone away, never stepped foot in court. He was sentenced to 5 years minimum security detail two years before the Red Flu broke

Now in CCC, he had not gone out of his way to make friends. He had come in here to be in minimum security for a white collar crime and now was knee deep in lifers with a new lease on life and a convicted killer doling out weapons and in charge. It wasn't that he didn't like her or trust her, but he only knew two things, money and working out. One he continued to do, the other he couldn't imagine being entrusted with.

Jamie liked the finer things in life, there just wasn't a lot of that around here, but he had ambitions that the New Society, or whatever it was called today, might offer opportunities for a man with his natural industriousness. There were certain things, specifically gambling and drugs that always led to wealth and power, Jamie hoped to bring his entrepeneurialism into helping foster these industries within CCC.

Backstory: Atlas was a student in college taking a three year course in dentistry. Expected by his parents to be a massive success, both of them very skilled in their fields, his father a doctor, his mother a high end company executive. The course though soon showed to be to much for him. He started to fall behind in his studies and then he started taking some small time drugs on the side to get his mind off of it all.

When the work started piling up he felt like he had to start cracking down on it, but it was still to much for him. He took some high end hallucinogens and soon came to find himself in his dorm bathroom with a large knife to his wrist.

When one of his roommates came in to check in on him as he was screaming at his own shadow, Atlas stabbed him in response, multiple times, a total of 29, to the point where he had next to cut off the roommates' head.

Because of the brutality of the killing Atlas was given a maximum sentence.

The Red Flu really started to hit hard just shortly after he went to prison.

Personality:A people pleaser. Very eager to help others and do as told. Very task oriented. Is on the shy side and often keeps to himself. But is very open about his feelings and honest.

Sexuality:Gay, but has really liked the look of a few women and can be somewhat flexible.
