Its really cool to sleep under the stars, stayed in a B&B (bed and breakfst ) place here in Ireland once and the had this big skylight over the bed, it felt like we were sleeping outside except it was nice and warm and rpmantic under the covers but the night sky was spectacular:) :)

That does sound romantic.

Often when I go camping I enjoy sleeping next to the campfire, and watching for shooting stars, listening to the crickets and frogs and the fish jumping in the stream...ok, not quite the same setting but having someone next to you then is awesome.:)

I was in Namibia a few years ago and slept under the stars quite a bit, the night sky there was totally amazing, humidity was very low so no real heat haze distortions, no clouds and no light pollution, the Milky way was so clear I had never seen it like that before, even when star gazing while out sailing.

Ive seen satellites passing over head at night as well its fantastic to see.
