"You could top off my coffee," George suggested.

Dawn hurried away to get the pot. In truth, Gus's presence itself had not made her nervous. Cathy's invitation to dinner with him had. Gus had ended their relationship so unexpectedly, Dawn felt a lack of closure that still plagued her.
