Best Friend's Dad

Ashley was thrilled that Ms. Fowler invited her over for dinner after soccer practice. Laura Fowler had always been her best friend and she loved going over to the Fowler house for dinner. They always had good food and a seemed to have a good time being together. Plus, it gave her a chance to work on her math homework with Laura after dinner. She seemed content as she hopped into Laura’s van and headed for Laura’s house.

James Fowler incited his daughter's best friend over to get her mind off things. He knew she was having a diificult tie with her parents divorce and her father had asked if he would mind getting her ut of the house and letting her spend the weekend at her best friends place. Her father thought it would be difficult for her to watch him pack his things and leave their home.

James had been like a second father to Ashley. He had watched her grow up from a yong girl into the lovely young 18 year old that she was today. After practice he picked the girls up and asked if they'd like him to stop and pick up some pizzas and movies for them to watch. They both thought that was a great idea.
