I get that she supposedly broke into his home but she was removing his guns to try and get the guns away from him.

She didn't keep them but handed them into the police station.

If the situation is outrageous enough? There's a slippery slope!


This should have stopped with the police report and arrest
after the first incident and then she should have gotten
a court's restraining order for when he was released.

Acting out of fear she may have broken into his place knowing what the consequences would be but hoping to keep the guns out of his hands and maybe keeping her and her children safe.

If you are going to properly act out of fear you go to the police.
If you are acting out on revenge, then you go for his stuff...



This is a perfect example of why it is so dangerous for the police
to respond to domestic violence calls.

When you are terrified of someone and you've had experience with domestic violence she may have just reacted impetuously. Perhaps not the wisest thing to do but what she felt at the time she had to do.

Cops just doing their job and she did something illegal. This kind of stuff happens all the time but usually gets worked out in the end.
She shoulda got a lawyer first but people don't always think straight when stressed.
