Chess hasn't actually convinced Allie that going to visit Pilo is in her best interest, but that's coming up. It'll be funny if he's already in a ridiculously foul mood by the time they get there.

I have a feeling Pillo isn't going to be happy to see Chess regardless, given that Pillo treasures his privacy and Chess deals in information.

Pillo has a lot of secrets he doesn't want filtering back to the royalty aside from his wealth of plants that could be quite powerful in the "wrong hands".
