I opened a bottle of Pinot and began my own libation
Between the heat of the day and my mood combined
Gave way to my drinking the entire damned bottle of wine!
I was very good...., not taking any other to my bed,
The alarm going off at half two and jarring my head
I dragged myself from my soft, comfy nest
To make my way into work to try and do my best
As I try and work diligently doing my job
This headahe pounding badly, making me sob
I ask that you tip one for my hair of the dog
Cuz I won't be able to, as I'm in such a fog
A samll thing I ask, dearest Starkpic that you do
Is when tipping be very close to the loo!
For if you feel as I do now.......
into that toilet, you shall soon plow!

You know the type........a party pooper ......usually, as in this case, had too much to drink. I'll say no more, of course, just let the matter rest and hope sir, you can live with your conscience in the cold light of a new day! (Hopefully in sobriety).

I guess the excitement of it all got to somewhat; I have to admit it been the most exciting birthday treat I've had for some years. Made me feel 25 again. I even regret now kicking over the postman's bike and accusing him of stealing my cards. Its raining here now but that's what mi' potatoes need; what's happened to those land girls these days anyway?
