Hungry came to mind as Hank pawed at her breasts, his mouth wet and sloppy as he fought to tongue wrestle for dominance. Panting raggedly at his move to dominate her, she moaned loud and long as the need clawed hotly at her body. It would be so easy to stay here in the truck with Hank and keep on rollin’ down the road, but she couldn’t handle being cooped up in here any longer! The truck was stifling and the road was long… but damn, these past forty eight hours have been one hot fucking tale to tell!
His moan was low, his hands slipping under her shredded Great White t-shirt as she pulled away. Eyes meeting, she gave him one of those come hithers with her eyes as her mouth told him, “Take care Hank.” Remorse in her tone. Her hands unsteady as she wiped his taste from her glistening lower lip, “I appreciate the ride..” She pulled the gym bag strap back onto her shoulder from where it had fallen in their little altercation. Her arm faintly caressing her pert nipples with her movements, she bit back another groan of need and steadied herself for more will power.
“Ya need a ride back..” He said for the fourth time, his hands fighting to let loose. She nodded without a verbal response, still fighting to regain control over her raging hormones. Damn he was packin’ something fierce in those drawers he had on and ever y little neuron in her body was pulsating his name. The things they’d done in his bunk….
She smile ruefully as the truck hissed out another gush of air, the brakes releasing as they sat idling at the truck stop. She glanced up and out the window, Florida was much brighter than Washington, that’s for sure. Without thinking her mind named off all the states she’d been through in the last vagabond couple of years. She wondered for only a moment if perhaps she should’ve gone home to California instead of coming here in the latest whimsical fancy?
Too late now Rose
“I mean it,” He added, his smile coming as the corners of his eyes crinkled with pleasure. An odd hick name for one fine and decent man, but he had a wife and kid somewhere and she wasn’t the second string type! Nor was she willing to settle down and play house with some stranger, no matter how juicy his cock and firm his hand.
“Alright.” She flushed as she spoke, appearing naïve and more youthful than her twenty three years, “I’ll call if that time comes baby.” She spoke the words he longed to hear, the words he needed to let her go despite how hollow they sounded to both their ears. “Can I borrow a few bucks baby?” She turned her big brown eyes on him and smiled, her hasty messy bun slipping down the nape of her neck was beginning to annoy her but she plead softly with those doe eyes. “I need to call my cousin so he can come pick me up..”
“He know ya comin’ honey?” Hank released her and pushed back in his air ride seat, fingers diving into his front pocket.
“No, not yet. But..” She glanced around wondering where exactly they were in relation to Bryce’s home, “I can grab a taxi if all else fails..” She turned back as he offered her all the cash he had left on him. “Thanks baby!” She cooed, her fingers snatching it up quickly as she all but crawled across the space to kiss him thoroughly. Tongue diving deep and rough, she debated if she’d have time for one last good romp or not. Knees on one seat, they got a quick honk and shout out from another passing truck driver. That lewd cat call was enough to pull her from crawling onto his lap; the hour was growing late as it was. Her tiny shorts had little material but her pockets were intact, and so she slipped the cash into the front pocket sticking out of one large hole, tugged the bag back to her shoulder and reached for the door handle.
“Take care now,” His hands reaching as he shift into first, pushing in one button and pulling out another. The big blinker by his driver window clicked on, making a loud click noise as it went out and came back on. Hank was about to be out of her life, like so many before him, but she’d remember him fondly in her private hours when she was sure to be alone.
A lusty wink and she grabbed a smaller backpack and stepped down the large chrome steps. Looking around at the diner and small parking lot, it wasn’t all that busy for the dinner hour around here. Turning she gave the door a good hearty shove and watched as Hank rejoined traffic, headed back to the Interstate for who knows where. Fingers in her pocket, caressing the small folded stack of bills, she eyed the diner then McDonalds over across the street. Decided to treat herself while she waited on Bryce… waited to get the nerve up to call Bryce is more like it!
Heaving a resilient sigh, she made her way to the pay phone and dropped in a few coins. She wasn’t sure if she had the right number or not, so she called information for his phone number. Pulling out her make up bag, she used her eye liner to scribble his number across her bare thigh.
“Hey..” She smiled as she spoke, people could hear a smile in your voice, though she wasn’t exactly sure how. “Is Bryce home?” She asked the man on the other end, unsure if it was him or the right number, until she heard him answer affirmatively.
“It’s Rose.” She smiled with relief, she had the right number, “Jones…” She answered him, the tone a little sour, her bottom lip pouted out, “You know, Aunt Caroline’s Rose? Did you forget me, Cuz?” She asked shyly, trying to keep the humor in her tone.
A pregnant pause happened here that had her stomach sinking. The term BLACK SHEEP seemed to hang in the air between them… as well as clicks, blips and static on the line! Damn phone companies really need to keep their shit updated.
“Bryce? You there?” She asked, wondering if she lost the call as it wouldn’t occur to her that he’d hang up on her. Despite family stories and how she’s pissed off pretty much everyone in the family tree and all the in-laws, Bryce wasn’t like THEM! They had a connection back in the day, real “Stand By Me” Shit. Thick and thin that summer and a few after that.. Granted she hasn’t seen Bryce since pre puberty and itchy camping trips back in the reunion days… But how could he forget her!?
“Hey there Cuz..” She heard him say, her smile blossomed fully as she turned to lean against the phone booth. “What brings you all this way?” He seemed distracted, some female in the background was trying to talk to him but Rose couldn’t make out the words clearly.
“I was in the neighborhood and thought I’d stop by….” She offered weakly, her eyes squinting as the sun began to set. Her nerves a little overly active, she had a bad feeling growing in the pit of her stomach.
“I….” She faltered, wondering just what she could tell him and how much had he heard from the family? “I’m at some random truck stop, who knows where and it’s getting dark..” She answered honestly, swallowing her pride a little more than she liked, “I have some cash but not a lot, I’m not asking for any though!” She hurried to add and chuckles nervously again, “I just wondered if we could talk… In person? Maybe camp out while in town?” The line was silent, again too silent for too long. She couldn’t read him or how he felt exactly about her calling, being there or on his phone line…
“Please?” She added in that infamous little girl tone. “I promise to behave myself, just there’s no one else around..” She let him hear what she wanted him to hear, her pouting and scared. Men seemed to thrive on saving her, protecting her from whatever had her voice sounding so frightened… She was banking on Bryce being a normal man, albeit skeptical but still protective.
Blood is blood, isn’t it?
Her face lit up, he gave in despite what he may or may not have heard, “Heard of Moe’s Diner off 34? I’m there.” She nodded as said he’d come get her, her blood pumping with excitement at seeing her “Cuz” after all these years. “Thanks Bryce! I’ll be here waiting.” She hung up and grabbed her duffle bag and backpack. She’s treat herself while she waited, flopping down into a booth and grabbing a menu.
