Claire nodded her head,"Yes she is the queen of all the vampires.She thinks I can benefit from her by doing theses little chores and things but I think she lost her mind."

kai stood near her friend and looked at Kris. "I sir,am Kaisaya. Body guard and close friend of Claire."Kai spoke softly and looked over at her friend as they walked. Her eyes burned as the coming dawn threatened the sensitive retinas. She could remain in sunlight but not for long. The older vampires could tolerate more,she was still considered a fledgling.

she didn't say anything, she just continued to walk hoping that life will turn a new direction upon her and the two vampires walking next to her.Just what was about to come that would be decisive on this journey on their way home."if only I understood what mother meant,maybe this world can coexist."

" Hello Kai " Kris quickly added as he gave her a smile

" She Just cares for you and the vampire race adn wants the best thing for everyone" Kris replied

" But it would a whole lot harder for the vampires to live with the humans peacefully, the vampires hate the humans becsue they hunts us like animals, collecting bounties on certain ones. The humans fear us because we are different" Kris added

" so i take it your mother the queen has chosen a person for you to marry" He said softly

she looks at him with a tear down her eye then at Kai.She nods her head and continues walking.she couldn't say anything.She already had someone in mind but the person she wanted could ruin the only thing she had left inside still kicking.

" I'm sorry if i upseted you" Kris replied with a bow as he saw a tear fall from clairs eye

she didn't look,"you haven't upset me. Its just I would have expected Kai to tell me that.She would normally scold me like that" she sighed knowing that is for certain.she couldn't say much more since they were almost at her home."just 5 more minutes Please?" her time was almost up but she knew nothing she could say would make it any longer then what it is.

Kai stopped and looked over at Claire,her words struck her deep. "I did not tell you because I feared you were tired of me nagging. I just look out for you and it would kill me to see anything hapen to you."She said softly looking at her friend then to Kris.

"How far have you traveled?"She asked Kris trying to let Claire have her few minutes.

she knew what she said was wrong but she couldn't help but say what she felt.It was only a matter of time before she would have to order her around."I'm sorry Kai." she opens the door to the mansion and everyone is running crazy all over the place.

" I came from america soemting happened there and i just needed to get away for a short while" Kris quickly answered kai " Thats is the rumors have traveld here about me" Kris added quickly.

" In fact those rumors have come to haunt me time again" Kris thought to himslef as he saw the door to clairs house opened and inside everyone where running all around the place. eveyrone look busy its been a long time since he seen soemthing like this.

a maid walks up to them,"Welcome home my lady, now isn't a good time to be here."

"what is going on,everyone looks crazy"she asked looking at everyone.

"It's your mother. She....." she whispered into her ears.

Her eyes opened wide and a tears fell.

The moment Kris saw the claire cry and from what she said and didn't say he knew it was bad

" This is not good from what i could tell the queen may have been killed but i'm not for sure" Kris replied to himself

" This is almost like what happen to me a long time ago" Kris replied softly shaken his head

"So exactly am I suppose to do?" she asked the maid. The maid bowed at her feet and looked towards the floor."You don't mean?"

She looks ahead and all the chaos was gone and all of them were bowing towards her."You CANT BE SERIOUS!!!!"

" so i take it you are the new queen" Kris replied with a bow

" So what is your first course of actions?" kris asked claire as he saw that the other vampires around them soon bowed before her.

Kai felt her own throat tightened as Claires reaction. She knew then Claire was now Queen. Things were chaotic and she drew herself up and took on her role as body guard.

"Mi'lady.."Kai spoke to another nobility near her. "Pray tell me whats has transpired here. How did this happen."She asked putting herself closer to Claire. She looked over at Kris and the look she gave him let him know they would speak privately later.

The maid look unsurprised that she would ask,"Right now all we have to do is follow our queen's orders.There is no other reason but that."

Claire couldn't speak, her eyes just shed tears as if it was raining.

"Our orders come from our Lovely queen Claire now and forever." the maid said as she kept her head down.

Kai struggled to keep her emotions in check and dropped to one knee following suit of all around them,paying homage to their new Queen. She raised her head and met Claires eyes. Her look telling her all would be well.

"My queen,I pledge my loyalty and blood to you here and now. I will give my life for yours if and when the call arises."Kia declared to the new queen.

everyone else repeated what Kai said to her.

"Thank you everyone,but please do not treat me as your queen.Just treat me like you would treat your best friend and we should be able to get along really well.Now as for this place, I am going to need a few arrangements.Kai will tell you all of them in order.She will give out orders directly from me.Please follow them, as for our new comer here make him feel right at home." she said looking at them.She felt happy but what concerned her most is what the maid told her.

Kris quickly gave a nob back to kia

" thank you milady if there is anything you need ask and i will serve you" Kris replied with a bow.

So Kris saw two maids led him up a flight of stairs and into a room.

" This will be your quarters make yourslef at home if there is anything you need ask adn we will try to see to it" Both of them replied with a bow and exited the room.

" Well it looks like i dont need to find a room" Kris replied as he sat the laon back pack down on the bed. He slowly losen his tie and st on the bed thinking what to do next.

She sat down in her mother's throne chair and looked upon all the vampires who stood watching her.Mother loved attention and ordered them to watch them.She never liked it but she wasn't alone."Kai, what do I do"

" The Bloody Count?" " How long has it been since that name was uttered" Kris replied as he laid back down on the bed and stared up at the celling.

" A vampire who hunted his own kind for revenge along with many humans" he added with a slight smile.

" That name is in the past long and buried most young ones dont know of me or heard tales while the older vampires know of me." he added

A maid knocks on knight's door,"The queen would like to have a word with you, its really urgent."

Up on hearing the knock on the door and a maid told him that the queen wishes to speak to him Kris quickly got up.

" Very Well then" Kris replied as he openned the door and followed the maid to the main hall where the queen was sitting. All around the other servents bowed before claire there new queen.

" Your highness you wish to speak to me" Kris replied as he bowed to one knee

she nods,"you see, I heard rumors of a vampire who was killing other vampires and I would like to know right now if they are all true.Please this is a real emergency, if true? Please explain why"

" Yes there was a vampire who did that a long time ago" Kris replied

" That vampire was me" Kris whispered as he got up all aorund him vampires gasped in shocked

" The reason i did it was becasue several vampire elders paid a large gang of humans to kill my family." Kris replied " They killed them and they thought they killed they where wrong about a hundred years ago i caught up to the last vampire" " He was old and dieing his daughter said she would take his place." Kris said

" I told here no," " Her father told her that I had tthe right to kill him for what he and the others did. Because of what he said and unlike the others who tried to get out of what they doen I spared his life" Kris replied.

" But who ever killed your mother the former queen is either wanting to take control or start a war' kris added quickly
