I went for a Konica/Minolta, with a 18 - 70 mm standard lens.
I chose it against the Canon and Nikon, purely for the 18 - 70mm option.The other two only went up to 55mm I think.
And I am very pleased with it so far.
At current exchange rates I guess I paid $850, and the telephoto is $180.

We shall see when we do Italy LOL
