I'm not going to look up what Newsom said or didn't say. End of the day I don't really care what I pay in Income Taxes I care what I get and we don't get our money's worth but THAT is the actual problem not tax rate. You have no clue what I do or don't make so your statement is assanine. You don't know how motivated or not motivated by money I am. Newsflash, not nearly as much as you'd think.

I will take your comment as yes, you do generally believe that which tells me you aren't particularly interested in facts. We can look at the deficit, GDP, wage increases, employment and usually inflation and objectively Democrats are superior to Republicans. The only argument you can make against it is that it takes a while for policies to take effect. Bad Democrat policies sink Republican Presidencies and vice versa.

Truthfully I do not have a solid argument against that logic aside from Presidential term limits are a bad fucking idea. Maybe in a world where Reagan or Bush II got a third term we'd be able to have a president say "Well this investment took a decade to pay off but look at where we are now compared to where we started" things would be different. I'm willing to admit I don't have access to a time machine or alternate timelines.
